i'd have mine done, so long as they got the laser settings right. i could probably get it done here at uni since my uni is one of the leaders in laser technology, processes and measurement in the world and im mates with most of the guys down in the laser shed.
laser material processes despite having governing equations are still pretty emperical.... ie alot of settings are still found via trial and error! and its multi-multi parameter (you can adjust speed, power, spot size, pulse width, period width etc all to achieve the same effect) lol so id want to know it wasnt about to penetrate through the lid on my mac book pro... that'd be disasterous!
