Would you "Laser Etch" your MB/MBP?

Etching your or our Mac does indeed void the warranty!!
But since i've done just about every modifications to mine, possible...
I'm thinking of branding it with Neville Brody's autograph!

How does it void warranty?....your not messing with any internal component, its basically like adding stickers to the back

I know this topic's been covered before.. but I wonder, outta all the members here, has anyone actually had their pride and joy etched?

I was browsing through flickr just now... and I kinda fancy having mine done.. but I'm not whiling to send it all the way to the USA!! I'm sure the technology is available here! It's blamin' Japan!

As soon as my warranties out, im swapping the HDD, cleaning it out, and replacing my dented bottom case, anodizing the casing black, and etching the top.

Lol, someone should do a study. See if the people who are into tattoos are more likely to also get their computers etched.

Me personally, would never get it etched, and NEVER get a tat.

I'd certainly pay more for a stylishly etched MBP. It makes it totally unique which a lot of people love.

I LOVE tattoos, and would definitely get my MBP etched. I haven't really looked into it but if it wasn't to pricey and I knew where to get it done in the East Bay I'd make an appointment right now!

how does the bottom of the MBP scratch? doesn't it have rubber feet like the MBA?

Yah it has rubber feet, their just too small. Their so small a grain of salt scratched the bottom of mine, so it practically drags where ever you put it
