Best placement for fingerprint sensor-

I imagine that most people do, and the expectation would be that you use your index finger on the back.

...and have to actually pick up the device to get to the fingerprint reader on the back... not interested in that scenario ... it's fine where it is, or have a dedicated region of the screen/fingerprint reader below the screen...

I'm not sure that enough people regularly use their phone without picking it up for this to be something that gives Apple pause.

Admittedly, I am not "enough people" all by myself, but I keep my phone on an easel stand on my desk while I am working...can do most of what I need to do without ever picking it up... I guess we'll just have to wait to see what Apple does, and then vote with our wallets.
