No, don't return it. Contact Apple and ask them to repair it. If they can't/won't, then return it.

If it were me (being anal), I'd return it. The laptop is expensive enough and personally, it would bother me to see that defect every time I used it - but that's just me. If you're not really bothered by it then keep it

Yes, repair it. I don't understand why so many people insist on returning their Macs when something isn't quite right. Apple can fix the products that they sell.

Because Apple may use this imperfection down the road to claim abuse and nullify the laptop's warranty I'd personally return it to avoid this headache.
 
Have Apple repair it or exchange it, that is what is being suggested. Return implies getting your money back. For something small like this getting your money back is unwarranted imo, just have Apple repair it or exchange it and move on.

Reread what I posted, I didn't say leave it as is, I said have Apple repair it. If it is repaired, it won't have an "imperfection" anymore.
