Nope. Like how small it is.

4" is ok. 3.5" was better.

Use iPad when I want a bigger screen.

Should be 3 sizes,
One called the iphone mini which is the current 5 for the women and men that wear women's jeans (they are the only people saying the other phones that are bigger don't fit in the pocket) ,the next is simply the iphone @ 4.5" the next is the iphone xl, aka the guyphone at 6.5" to finally give the note 2 some competition (at least in screen size not features)

Problem solved.

2 out of 3 are one hand friendly, all are pocketable

in a heart beat, 4.5-5' would be awesome. I really, really hope that they roll one out, there is enough market for it.

After using the Note 2, I wouldn't get an iPhone if it was 5" or less unless it was 1080p.

I prefer 4" or less. Anything over 4" is just too big of a phone. I don't understand the need for a bigger screen. Apple created the iphone on the principle of one handed use and I pray they stick to that principle and capture a market that is quickly eroding. People complain about wanting a bigger screen but in the end when the next Iphone is released those same people will be buying the Iphone.

- Develop inexpensive wearable device with advanced AI
- Bump the iPhone screen to 4.25"
- Drop the iPad Mini to 6.9" and make it retina
- Profit!

Seriously though, every android handset maker is targeting 5"-6", which is to big to be a one handed phone and to small to be a tablet, so box them in.

The poll should have been more simple. Which screen size do you prefer?

- iPhone 4/4S
- iPhone 5
- Larger

I want larger. I trust that Apple can do it in a way that gives me at least the same battery life I'm getting now, even if it means the phone would be slightly thicker.

I think we're still 2-3 years off but at some point Apple will have to cave. They've been at the top, they can feel it slipping away, and they'll become desparate to stay there.

Interesting thought, but my original idea was to get an idea of if someone walked into a store today to buy an iPhone and had any of these options in front of them which would they actually buy. We've had lots of theoretical discussions about what Apple will/should do but this is what would you actually prefer to buy if you had your choice.

YES

I would spend more!!

I wished they had gone with 4.3 back when it was released.

But now, I feel 4.6 is a nice size, not too big but bigger than 4.

If anything, it needs to be slightly wider because in landscape mode it's just not that great reading articles on the web. It's ok and works but just not great.

Since the iphone 4 is my first iphone, I will say I could never go back to a NON retina display, the retina display, to me is the best display out there.

To the OP:

You really should have made your poll more in times with today's figures.
lumping 4.1-4.9 is not fair assesment. I voted for that but I would never pay for a 4.1 lol

Your poll should have been

4
4:3
4.6
4.8
5.0

something like that would have yielded better results and more voting. :)

5 and above is way too big. There's something to be said for ease of one-handed use. My Note II got returned after two weeks for just that reason.

Maybe 4.5 might be the perfect compromise.
