Interested as quite a few have mentioned how they are looking forward to this feature. Is this a feature you would like to see and would you use it? Rumoured to be released for series 6 with what I’m guessing will be a bigger battery

Yes I would like sleep tracking. I’ve always wanted it to be built in but now I’m using an app for sleep tracking. If the next Watch has sleep tracking or more health monitoring features it’s an instant buy for me.

S4 user here. If the S6 includes oximeter and sleep tracking I might upgrade. I don't sleep track every day.... maybe 2-3 times per month. So if only sleep tracking is offered I won't upgrade.

I take a melatonin and I’m OUT. No need to track it here. Plus I can’t sleep well with the feeling of jewelry or a watch on.

I’ve never tracked my sleep personally but it depends how much better the battery is on the series 6. Has to be a good amount better to support sleep tracking i would say.

I’m using an app at the moment. I charge my watch before I go to bed in the evening to 100%. When I wake up in the morning it’s between 70-75%. I can top it up to 100% whilst I’m getting ready for work in the morning.

I can see the use case for this, I’m working from home so at the moment wouldn’t be an issue even if it did drop low later on.

I won’t buy a new AW for it but would give it a try if it comes to AW5. I’ve used Pillow and AutoSleep but don’t use anything regularly as I already know how badly I sleep and having it confirmed doesn’t help me.

Really that much? I use AutoSleep on my S4 and when I charge it to 100% before sleep, it only drops about 4-5%. So perfectly useable as sleep tracker but I’m interested to see what a native one can do. AutoSleep is pretty detailed though.

That is way too much battery drain overnight in my opinion. You might want to check your settings and or look over your sleep app.

I use Pillow for sleep tracking on my cellular series 5. The watch is 100% when I go to bed and it is usually around 85% when I wake up. And that is with the Infograph face with Carrot Weather running on the face, along with 2 Mail apps, Fantastical, Phone Buddy app, and the UV stock app on the bottom of the face

I love my series 5 so much, I don’t see myself upgrading to the 6 yet. Especially if only for sleep tracking. I don’t find the sleep apps work too great for me personally so after awhile I lost interest in them. Too inaccurate. Would I like an integrated sleep app, sure! But I’m sold on my stainless watch, if I upgraded I’d only have money for the aluminum 6 and that ain’t happening :)

Sell a spare Kidney. :)

I wouldn't mind the added sleep app but would need more than that in order to upgrade this year.

I use AutoSleep on my S4 now. If it’s available for WatchOS 7, then I will hold on to my S4 until Christmas time to upgrade to the S6. If it will only come on the S6, then I will upgrade in September or whenever it’s released.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the past 3 years that I’ve been tracking my sleep first using my S2 and then my S4 now.

No, I don't like the idea of wearing the a watch in bed. I also have a good knack for knowing whether I've had good night's sleep or not, and a device telling me I'm not sleeping well is likely to make me sleep even worse.
If I were ever to get into the sleep tracking game, I'd probably want something more 'forgettable' like those sensors that go under your mattress.

Well last night I slept with my S4 watch on (haven't done that for a few weeks now). No sleep app but got a low heart rate warning around 12:20am - was 48 for 10 minutes. Never been there before

Coming from my fitbit I actually really miss consistent sleep tracking and aggregate sleep scores. I found them really useful. With that said, IF it was the ONLY new feature, I’ll wait it out till Series 7 and the hopefully new design.

Nope, as others have said it doesn't really offer a lot of value. I can tell when I've had a good or bad nights sleep.

I REALLY hope that this isn't the 'lead feature' of the S6 as I'm due an upgrade. Even if we get a blood oxygen or sugar sensor, it probably won't be enabled in my country (Australia) just like the ECG. There isn't much else rumoured for the S6 at this point, so I'm a bit worried.
