If you aren't sure about an app because the OP didn't specify, all you have to do is go to the iTunes store and do a quick search to find out which devices it works on.

That's just what I want out of a message board...homework.

See the post that I quoted below? Yeah, if this guy says "no", it's no.

The App Store Forum is intended to cover all applications in Apple's app store. However, we recognize that many people have been posting application threads in the main iPad forum instead.

A separate iPad Apps forum would risk even more confusion, especially for applications that run on the iPhone and iPod touch as well as the iPad.

It's also a incremental problem each time we add a forum and make people hunt or scroll through more and more forums for the most relevant one.

Replace "iPad Meetups" w/ "iPad Apps"??

the current app forum is the most cluttered and my least favorite thread on macrumors. Can we have our own!?!?! They don't even know the iPad exsists over there!

duping the format and layout (while adding an ipad apps forum) of the iphone forum would be fine with me.

question about macbook accessories? go to that forum and then into the accessories forum

question about keyboard tips for the iphone? go to that forum and then into the tips/tricks forum.

sectioning it off that way would be great.

Agreed

I don't even look at the App Store forum. Between the botched titles, the poor spelling (both affect search result) and deciphering which piece of hardware it's for is not worth going thru it post by post.

If the iPad Launch Meetups can have a dedicated forum, then I don't see why not. :)
