True, but if they don't add more storage then it would be 3 years that they haven't increased the storage amount for an iPod.
I get that, they're going to have to do it sometime, though the iPod nano will probably get a capacity jump to 32GB this year and a possible reduced price.
32GB is probable for the nano. They probably will need to lower the price though, because its 179 for a 16GB, is that right? If they keep that price then they will have to make a 32GB a 199+, which will be to close to the Touch.
Probably true on the nano, the touch rumors seem like they could happen 3.2mp camera and no facetime seems very plausable, though it would contradict with steve's 10million facetime devices shipped by the end of the year. Unless that rear camera can also be used for facetime and they intend on doing facetime with rear camera only for the touch. That would make the people who want a camera on the touch happy and keep enough of a gap between iphone 4 owners and ipod touch owners as to not cannibalize iphone 4 sales.
I could care less about facetime, because I don't think I would use it much especially since I don't know anyone with an iPhone4 who I would care to facetime with. What I really want is a rear camera with photo and possibly video.

No I didnt but honestly...there are other things iPhone buyers want than just facetime...the iPhone has 3G+WiFi. My computer doesn't have that. Facetime isnt the only thing that matters

Actually the iTouch can have a camera. It did in the testing phase and the final phase of the iTouch 3g. Steve just pulled it at the last minute.
If u open an ipod touch 3g u will find a space for a 2mp camera at the top and a port for it.

Why would they need to keep FaceTime to the iPhone? If FaceTime came to the Touch it would be even more reason to buy the Touch and iPhone.
I can't see whether there's a hole in those front displays (for Facetime - https://www.macrumors.com/2010/07/0...ch-parts-reveal-hole-for-front-facing-camera/). I'm a bit disappointed about the 3.2 mp camera, which can only mean they want to keep the slimness of the iPod touch

I don't think that is a camera. Isn't that the light sensor's spot? I hate to bash camera rumors, but I don't want to be hurt again. Last time the internet almost exploded.

No. the antennae problem is created because there are different sections of the antenna, so it needs the black strips, and when you touch the lower left one, it bridges electrons. The iPod Touch will only need 1 section, so there is no need for multiple sections, so you cannot bridge the electrons and attenuate the signal.
