WoW settings 2017 15" MBP Radeon 560

Anyone have the recommended WoW settings for the 2017 MBP w Radeon Pro 560. TIA.

Run at half of retina resolution at setting 7 should do it. Adjust sun shafts, water, shadows, and view distance as needed to maintain a smooth frame rate.

How is WOW these days? Haven't played for a long time. Last time fealt I was the only one on the server that hadn't reached the level cap

Everyone is max level, crowded around the order halls now vs. capital cities. I just play Alterac Valley these days.

I last played the Panda expansion. How long is the game projected to go for?

I think Emerald Dream is next expansion, then something to do with the old gods maybe. I would have liked to explore the Nerubian empire some more - their instances were really well done.

After my guild collapsed to life support and we stopped raiding (post Lich King), I just solo old content as I'm able and slay noobs in organized AV runs. Usually Cupcake Cartel. Maybe once I get my Bloodthirsty title I'll hang it up. I'm only somewhere around 160k HKs.

Yeah, pretty sure I went through a couple of forum handles during the span of that thread.

Thanks! Yes that's about the setting I'm using and it works fine for me. Compared to playing on the 2012 rMBP it's an Legendary upgrade I use the ASUS VG248QE external as the monitor for the game and have the MB open for other stuff. The MB doesn't even get very warm.

I was raiding in Vanilla-BC-LK and then stopped, started to play socially in Legion and I must say the content in Legion is not bad at all.

Panda sucked really hard, this is much better done IMO.

Recently purchased:
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
3.4 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro 570 4096 MB

At 4k/5k you can run the game with no anti aliasing and it looks fantastic. You just don't need it at that res.

I used the Inky black potion (which apparently taxes the game lighting wise) and I got 50 -70fps.
I could post a screenie of my game settings if it helps?

I played legion at the start but the Suramar rep grind killed the buzz for me. So axed it for a few months..I looked at the requirements for class mounts and to be honest I might get there at some point around Christmas
