It has not...I received the email as well. I am thinking it may take some time due to the busy morning. Let me know if yours changes, I will do the same.

I figured the same, thanks for the update. I'll keep you updated

I had a small error in my billing address where the street name was spelled incorrectly. "Chestnue Lane" instead of "Chestnut Lane." Everything else checked out though (though I still have yet to see any charges on my PNC debit card for the watch and band I ordered).

I called Apple Customer Support just to make sure and the service agent reassured me that it wouldn't make a difference, but she went ahead and corrected it for me. I received the emails shortly after the call indicating the changes/updates that were made to the billing address, but the agent also noted that it could take up to 24-48 hours to reflect those changes in their system/on their site. Rest assured, your order will not be delayed or impacted in any negative way.

Ah, great to know! Thanks.

I switched my billing address from work to home, but still had the work ZIP code listed.

Just because the order went through doesn't mean it actually went through. When they go to ship your Watch, they'll try to charge the card and your card issuer will deny it because the address doesn't match your address.

You cannot modify the billing info online for the order.

Call 1-800-692-7753 and say "I have a question about my order." It'll get you to a rep, and ask to change the billing address.

You'll receive two emails. One is an updated order confirmation email, and another details that you changed your billing address.

Making this change has no impact on your shipping dates. Trust me, I was as frantic as some of you about it affecting my order. I was assured it wouldn't change a thing. They have since updated my billing info and I still have my original 4/24 - 5/8 shipping dates.

When you check the order status on Apple's website, it will still show the incorrect info. Don't fear though, it has been updated. Their website just doesn't reflect it.... At least not quickly.

:D

Thanks for the post. It's been over 24 hours since she updated my billing address and I received the email confirming the change. However, it is still not reflected on the order status page. I'll post back when it actually does update

Same problem here. My work address was set as the default for billing and shipping. I was able to change it before finalizing my order. No idea why that happened. I don't even know where they got that address from. I've never used it with Apple. Strange.

Will the order not process if there are two different addresses? I really need my watch to be shipped to my work address....

With iPhone orders, they will attempt to charge the card as the order goes into prepare to ship. If it can't be charged, you have some time to log in and fix whatever error before you lose your place in the queue. If you don't fix it, your order goes to someone else. Presumably the same will happen with the watches too.

So you have quite a while to fix the problem--until 4/22 or so at the earliest.

Not true. Sometimes they ship out a week ahead and it sits at ups/fed ex till the launch day. They don't ship it the day before even though it may say overnight , and if coming from China it will prob ship this Thursday

Seems like the billing addresses were an issue all around.

I double checked everything the day before and it was all set, but when I ordered it forced me to reenter my address. That pushed me back from 4/24-5/8 to 5/13-5/27.

Wasn't thrilled, but hopefully they're prepping to over deliver.

This happened to me too. Had to have been a bug. It was a quick and easy fix though.

That said, I'm not going to lie, I hope thousands and thousands of people don't realize this so I don't have to wait until freaking June!

I have similar problem, but since they I had this €1 check blocked on my cc it should I do anything about it? My billing address is correct the only thing is I couldn't pick the right country (I ordered from Poland in German store with PL billing and DE shipping address).

I had the same problem. I contacted Apple Support and they will change it to the right country. I would do the same, since your creditcard company could deny charging before the shipping date.

I used Apple Pay and, in the past, it has had the correct billing address selected. Keep in mind, this data is not coming from your Apple ID account info, it's coming from your phone. Well, recent 8.3 iOS update increased the Address editing capabilities and I think it also pulled in more addresses from my contact info. WHen I played my ordered, my shipping address was right but my billing address was one of the "other" addresses I've never used with Apple Pay online before. Annoying.

That said, it has the same ZIP code and I'm 99% sure the address for authorization is entirely ignored except the 5 digit part of the ZIP code (which is why some services just ask for that instead of full address.) And to support this, my account is clearly affected by the amount of the order. It must have authenticated the charge, at least partly, with my bank for that to happen. Even so, I called and asked for my street address to be fixed and got a confirmation email that it was.

However, even still, the order is not updated in the website. I am thinking this discrepancy is related to Apple Pay and that no buying details will be updated at all until the completed transaction is done. I am hopeful this means the address SNAFU had no material impact, but, honestly I don't think there's anything else I can do to ensure it so just... sit back, sip a drink, and watch the days pass by until something happens :)

I've never had a payment issue with Apple, but, with Amazon I have had a case where a card was declined, it had the wrong expiration date on the site, and they let me update the info and "try again" with no impact on shipping times even though it was a pre-ordered, heavily demanded item.

So hopefully, if there IS an issue with the payment situation due to this mistake, Apple's system will behave similarly, just keeping my order "on deck" for a short time while I am able to give fully updated payment info. Guess we'll see.

One member on this thread stated earlier it may take 24-48 hours to reflect on the website. I guess we'll see, mine was changed yesterday at 6am.

Exactly what happened to me, my work address was pre-populated instead of my home address, lol

Ditto. A quick phone call to 1-800-MY-APPLE fixed the problem. Seems a bug where Apple Pay defaulted to "work" address for billing.

I did notice that when I go to Settings > Apple Pay, and select the specific card, it used my work address instead of my home address (which is what the Apple Store app is set to use) for billing.

I changed it in the Apple Pay settings and did a "mock" order on the app and it is now defaulting to the home address.

I would hope as long as the billing address is correct then it should ship to any address you wish, i'm getting mine delivered to my work and have had previous orders delivered there without issue.

Yes, as long as the billing address matches the card, the shipping address can be anything.

The problem with most of us in the thread is we used Apple Pay and it pre-populated the wrong address that is attached to our card for the billing address.

Do you, guys, know if omitting APT# from the billing address will cause problems? My bank has APT# listed.

Thanks was completely panicking that I would lose my delivery dates

Great so I was told its absolutely fine to have it a different address to be shipped too with the bonus of because its a work address its being delivered 9am - 5pm rather than 8am - 6pm :D

Good to know I'm not alone, Apple pay pulled my working address as my billing address. I called apple Saturday afternoon, after correcting the billing address, the representative spotted my APT# was not included in the shipping address and updated the shipping address. (Well, somehow I forgot to put APT# in my own contact address on my iPhone)

Immediately after hanging up, I refreshed the order summary, the shipping address was updated already while the billing address remains the same. This (Monday) morning I received an email confirming the address changes but the website is still listing the wrong billing address.

To avoid any drama in the future, I've updated and double-checked all my addresses in contacts, and deleted the work address from Apple Pay(access through Passbook).;)

Mine hasn't updated since Friday morning when I called and had them change the billing address.

At this point, I assume it will just change when it moves from processing to preparing for shipment.

Yep, I have had this happen and each time Apple screwed it up and messed up my order. IMO, place another order right away so at least you have a backup plan.
