That never helped anyone. They haven't streamed in long time.

Hey we have hope! They at least live streamed the iPad mini launch and iPhone 5 launch last fall.

Please new MacPro. Please new MacPro. Please new MacPro.

Maybe if I ask three times and use "please" it'll finally come true :D

IT MUST COME TRUE IT MUST!!!! (I know we're just getting our hopes up oh well :p)

So, i don't understand why people keep asking for UI overhaul. It does not need it nor is warranted.

I'm convinced that the people asking for a new look to iOS are primarily 14 year-old Android users with too much time on their hands and a handful of lemming tech bloggers, also with too much time on their hands.

The echo chamber of the Internet not only brought us the 2012 Fake Word of the Year "skeumorphic", but also makes this fringe group of teenage idiots and dateless wonders appear to be a much larger contingency than they actually are. Regular people, like adults with jobs, don't have a problem with the look of iOS.

I'm an adult.

I have a job.

I think iOS is light years behind other Mobile operating systems.

You speak for yourself only and not very well.

I thought the poster's points quite good. I spend very limited time looking at my phone throughout a day, so I care more about it getting the job done efficiently than anything else. Plus, iOS in its current state isn't ugly. If Apple can make it look better. great! But I really don't get all the fuss and urgency to change it up. No one has explained that yet, other than saying "it's old, and I need something fresh". But that comment is baffling, since to me, when things are done well they don't need to be changed along with our moods.

I guess there is some truth to your words, but many married or dating with an interesting job and kids have technology as a hobby. For such people, who are probably regular people, they are excited for a change, and to see what new developments Apple can bring out that are enjoyable, interesting, make life easier and so on. Those people probably read tech websites and blogs, like this one.

Lightyears ahead? No. Different? Yes. While there are some things I admire about other mobile platforms I don't think they are vastly better then iOS. I can do without smart scroll-pause and some other gimmicky things Samsung/Android came out with.

While I prefer iOS, to me it has as much to do with their hardware then the software itself.

Kind of the way I think. I'm more into how is this going to speed up my productivity and getting my work done, rather then wanting to change the looks. Any time I see the buzz words, boring, tired, old, just makes me think of some kid who's going along with the latest fad.

Expect the trolls, fandroids and apple haters in droves for the next few days. :D They'll be blowing their covers. ;)

They will be coming out of their troll cages I suppose, after the keynote this forum will explode with hatred towards Apple and how dull and boring iOS 7 is, and how its a featureless OS all tha blabber and talk.
Why is it that when Apple want to announce something or a new software update people expect it to bring a feature that makes your iPhone fly ?

If Apple intro's iRadio tomorrow, I expect would Apple TV and the iPod Nano to get software and/or hardware updates to for the new service.

I'm a gym rat, and an iPod Nano with iRadio featuring offline playlist support would be a blessing for me.

While iPod nano with this would be awesome, I just cant foresee how it could happen - its too far removed from a streaming service, and too similar to the current itunes model

LOL. Yup. And remember: troll comments count as page hits just as much as any other comment.
All of which will contribute to a massive spike in page hits on MacRumors tomorrow.
Which will help MacRumors earn more money!

(And thanks for the kind words in your quote of my earlier post.)

Why would you want interactive icons that chews through your battery life? Unless the phone grows in size (battery included) I don't feel having more animated/interactive user elements are a wise decision.

Here's what I would LIKE to see:

1. More Widget Support, and not just on the Notification Center, but on a separate Springboard screen/tab and even on the Lockscreen.

2. Animated/Interactive Icons. We already have this on our Jailbroken phones with tweaks like Live Clock and Weathericon. Flat, Lifeless Icons do NOTHING for me.

3. Animated Backgrounds - again, Jailbrakers to the rescue.

Apple makes such high quality devices...and then puts REALLY BASIC, FEATURELESS SOFTWARE ON THEM!!!!

They simply need to get more interesting.

Hmmm, I wonder how iRadio makes sense for developers? What happened to Apple having separate events for consumer related releases (U2 and Coldplay "iPod" and "iTunes" updates come to mind)? Leave iRadio and the like for consumer related events and get back to OS X and MAC updates for developers.

As much as everyone is excited about a "new look" for iOS - how much can they really do? The icons for every 3rd party App aren't designed by Apple so they can't touch them - whatever we end up with it will still have to have the rounded square icons or we'll end up with a visual shambles until every developer updates their icon over the next year or so. The look of iOS is largely just the icons...

Can someone record a viral iOS web music video with these lyrics

Thought it would be in order to reuse Kiss I was made for loving you ..

Tonight Apple is going to give it all to us
A new iOS
There's so much you can do
And tonight I wanna download the new release
'Cause iOS, I was made for you
And iOS, you were made for me

I was made for using' you iOS
You were made for be used by' me
And I can't get enough of you iOS
Can you get enough of me

I'd say this is one big *********.

I'm an adult.

Yet to be determined.

I have a job.

So?

I think iOS is light years behind other Mobile operating systems.

You speak for yourself only and not very well.

Thank God you still can.

Wait 10 hours.
