I predict that Apple will introduce the following during WWDC 2013:
- iWatch
- iRadio

I personally doubt that Apple would introduce these two items on a single event. I think they'll present one tomorrow, most probably iRadio, and leave the iWatch (if it is in fact being made) for a separate event.

Am I the only one having a hard time grasping the idea of Apple releasing a product that has advertisements?

I wouldn't be surprised if iRadio has a small monthly fee, i.e. $3.99 a month. That's the same as Pandora One, which has no ads. It'd be great competition for Pandora.

We've all seen the rumors of iOS 7 described as a total UI overhaul and being black and white, flat all over. My fear is that we will still have the same screens with the rows of tired old icons. I think removing the gloss and depth will make it even more dated if this is the design that was chosen. I hope Apple has really outdone themselves on this OS. Otherwise we will have a brand new iOS that is black and white, cr*p all over...

I remember when they made iTunes flat. Less useful, less visual information. Color is great fully back. Just like the crappy flat folders currently in Mac OS. Flat loses information. Color and other high lights quickly convey information that makes a user experience better.

lets wait just a few hours and make a reasonable judgement.

Clearly, that is asking waaay too much! Only a few hours until the announcement, hormones running high, people must be allowed indulge in irrationality by dispersing preemptive hate towards a product which we (and they) know nothing about.

OS X overhaul please. I love my iPhone 5 but I spend about 30 minutes a day messing with it, vs. 8-12 hours a day on my rMBP.

What exactly needs to be "overhauled" in OS X? Apart from a few features that remained broken and/or wonky in 10.8 (e.g. multiple monitors, sluggish Safari, hanging coreservices on shutdown, etc..) the OS remained all around solid.

iRadio would be a good bullet-point on the box of iOS devices but personally, I would prefer much bigger capacities so that Apple Lossless libraries could be stored for on-the-go listening. It is ridiculous that 64 GB has been the maximum capacity on flash-storage iPods/iPhones since 2009. Some of us are not online all the time (maybe 3G data connections are free in the US but not in Australia) so these iCloud based services are less useful than on-board storage.

That 7 on the spotty background looks kinda rubbish. I hope I am not one of the people who will be polarized in the wrong direction tomorrow.

Please new MacPro. Please new MacPro. Please new MacPro.

Maybe if I ask three times and use "please" it'll finally come true :D

I am not even sure that the WSJ knows what a Mac Pro is? So lets hope a new Mac Pro comes tomorrow! :apple:

Hopefully the iOS redesign is bigger than "flat". Users don't care about the actual design feel of iOS. Actually, the way it is designed now is what makes iOS, iOS. We need better functionality and flexibility. Why would I want more white space?

Maybe I am missing something.

iOS 7 is not going to be flat! That is a bogus rumor. Jony Ive would never go for that!

The walled garden has a door. You are welcome to come and go as you please. No one is forcing you to use Apple products. Android is just outside the gates.

I never went into the iOS door to begin with. I looked inside and saw everyone standing behind bars being told what to do and like.

I am really curious on what ios 7 will bring this could bring me back to the iphone when the 5s is released.

Completely agree. Though Apple was slow to the scene, they have the potential to make the service much more appealing than their competitors. Perhaps Google can give them a run for their money, but I don't see how spotify and pandora will keep up long term.

Yes. After all these years, I bet tomorrow is the day we'll see the true potential of Genius. And Genius is so much better of a name than iRadio

Made this today talking to my girlfriend...

Totally accurate.
