Cook was clearly the best choice to succeed Jobs. His speaking skills have improved a ridiculous amount in a short period of time. Now we're getting to see what Steve knew all along.

The when daily that you end up charging it is the question.

Ive has gone on record talking about how great the alarm feature on the :apple: Watch is - it can wake you without waking your partner.

And you can't wear it in the shower...

Imagine if it was capable of charging fast enough that you just took it off in the morning and charged it while you bathed so it's ready for you when you're ready for it. Turn a drawback into a feature.

Yeah I was very skeptical at first but the more I see and learn of Cook, the more confident I am in Apple's future.

Still not happy with the Mac Mini and iPad Mini decisions, but Jobs had his failures as well. Notably, Jobs learned from his failures and came back stronger than ever after each one - it remains to be seen if Cook has the same ability.

The more I see of Tim Cook in this sort of interview, the more I like him and respect him as CEO of Apple. I still miss Steve of course but Tim as CEO could very well be one of the best decisions Steve ever made. When you think of other CEOs in this industry, Tim is head and shoulders above all of them. Apple is in very safe hands.

Completely agree. And I love seeing him less restrained, he's a big deal and I like see him act like it. He's clearly fired up about apple pay, which means it's a big deal and may be his greatest victory as ceo of the company.

That being said, I have little faith in seeing anything revolutionary again from Apple. Just a lot of high quality products and services which may or may not be simple to use or particularly beautiful. When the TV product is eventually pushed out, I doubt it'll have the same magic that the iphone had. Unless it's insanely fast and simple to navigate, and uses some control interface we haven't seen yet.

I want a standalone music player, and Pono would be fine except that the Pono store will only sell their hi-fi music under DRM, which is a big turn off for a lot of people and was a big critisism of the iTunes Store until they stopped DRMing everything.

Plus the physical shape of that thing is... a Toblerone.
Yeah, I agree. Shape definitely puts me off.
The DRM thing is a pain in the butt too. I'll stick with my iPods and vinyl collection unless something easier comes along.
