1st both the US and the UK have many bands I enjoy. Endless list of both. As far as the kids go. I work in a high school and I will say I'm not surprised. Scarier yet will be how there kids turn out. No wonder the world hates us. Just a bunch of spoiled brats.

As far as "decent" music.... are you the one that decides what decent is? I don't listen to or like gangster rap but some people that like that wouldn't call country, jazz, top 10, or even Britney decent, while others might. It's all in the ear of the beholder. NOT up to you or me.

Lol...you obviously completely missed my point. The artists. Their albums, longevity and ultimately SALES of albums determines what decent music to the masses is. You dismissed European music. You disrespected European music. And yet you are clueless to the incredible music that has made it's swim over the pond

And sure, you were speaking for yourself, but ignorance was evident as well as your citizenship. YOU wrote your post. Not I. Hence, you spoke for America and our music...and how the top 40, billboards, charts or whatever are filled with Americans. As I mentioned, those are top 40 acts...most, flashes in the pan! Not the lifetime classics like "Who are You?", "Stairway to Heaven", "Hey Jude", Bowie! Queen! The Stones!

Classic bands that've stood the test of time! Just as well as our Aerosmith's, Kiss's, and Hmmm...hard to say, Steve miller is now playing casinos;)


My point is, you're statement wasn't anywhere near correct. And if you think it wise to gloat that the Mikey Cyrus's of the world and the whatever the heck the gangster rap is that you talked about....if that's what puts America at the top of the talent heap with music...you need to venture beyond MTV, Billboard and their top 200...American companies distributing American musicians....grab Spotify! Check out Pandora...you'll be amazed at the magic in music coming from all over Europe! Remember, Freddie Mercury grew up in Zanzibar!-an eastern African island! One of the great entertainers of ALL TIME...and no, not just I believe so.

Open your mind friend...of the Black eyed peas are your thing...cool! As you saw at the super bowl...they sure as hell can't reproduce that music live!! However, the year before we saw The Who perform, flawlessly!

You obviously have no reading comprehension. I didn't dismiss ANY form of music (except maybe david hasselhoff).

I simply said in America even **** groups get recorded because companies never know what other countries (europeans to be exact) may like... making the david hasselhoff point (I assume you focused on me saying **** groups in europe don't get heard as me saying european groups are all ****.... That would be YOUR mistake in comprehension, not MY mistake in the post). It's all well and good that you want to sound smart, but arguing a point (with me) that I didn't make, makes you look stupid.

I KNOW you have no reading comprehension as I said billboard top 100 OF ALL TIME..... You seem to have missed that point trying to sound superior and smart.... a task of which you fell woefully short.

By the way, that flash in the pan group called the beatles was number one ;)
