Since Sythas suggested I should participate....

I'll vote for rick snagwell.

This has started with an impressive bang.

And votes piling in already with commendable speed. Not much evidence, but plenty of speed.

Since memory is guiding us, here, on my first game Melrose invited me to join him for some single malt whisky. That hospitality would be ill served by adding to the pile voting for him.

Instead, for now, I'll opt for ravenvii.

Ok, tally time!

2 - Melrose : Appleguy123 (48), Ravenvii (50)
1 - Twietee : Plutonius (44)
1 - Plutonius : mrkramer (45)
1 - Appleguy123 : Moyank24 (47)
1 - Moyank24 : Rack Snagwell (51)
1 - Rick Snagwell : Twietee (52)
1 - Ravenvii : Scepticalscribe (53)

Vote pending : @Tomorrow , @Melrose

I think I'm always supposed to suspect Moyank and Melrose
And I love you too. appleguy123

If you're going to lynch me, at least have the courtesy to plant a tree in my honor, or maybe name the village post office the 'Melrose Was Awesome Memorial Post Office & Single Malt Scotch Bar For Kids Who Can't Read Good'. Or something.

It's been awhile since I've played in one of these games, what happens if there is a tie since right now it looks like we have Melrose, Appleguy, and plutonium tied with two votes each?

Well, the negotiating, pleading, misdirection and accusations fly………….that is what I think happens in the absence of any compelling evidence to the contrary.

Meanwhile, unless someone else starts to accumulate votes, we have three individuals who may be asked to make a case for their continued presence…

Thus, those of us who have registered a vote for one person will be asked to ponder changing that to one of our three on whom the first night's unfortunate focus may have fallen.

Or are we doing the First To Reach n Votes rule? Hypothetically: Me and Appleheadguy each have two votes, but I hit two votes first...

Yes it's the FIFO method, first in, first out!

Another Tally

2 - Melrose : Appleguy123 (48), Ravenvii (50)
2 - Plutonius : mrkramer (45), Tomorrow (55)

Yes, but I doubt that the the three unfortunates under the cosh will all remain on two votes each, so that will be moot, unless the person to be lynched is lynched on two votes which is highly unlikely.

Inevitably, some - if not all - will begin to gather votes - or, all three will gradually attract votes from those who have already voted for someone else.

Once one of the three of you reach three votes, that old tie has been rendered null and void.

First in, first out?

That means the first unfortunate to reach any tally - in the eventual event of a tie - becomes the person most likely to be lynched, I assume?

As of now, three people on two votes each, with @Melrose having reached that number before anyone else.

However, all that becomes null when the first person of of that trio reaches three votes..

You will understand that my vote was rather defensive. First-day voting always results in some poor sap being lynched prematurely.

Well, I assume that both your vote - and, to a certain extent, that of @appleguy123 - are defensive. That is a given. So, I am curious to see what our mutual friend the enigmatic and sometimes elusive @Plutonius does - or what he says.

As, obviously, I shall probably have to switch my vote, in order to make it count, I am curious to hear what others may have to say.

Actually, GG, give me a time check, please. I'm on GMT at the moment, and I believe that the the deadline is 7 p.m. EST - December 1. What does that mean in GMT terms please?

I suppose that it means that if people choose to do nothing, @Melrose will be lynched by slippery default.

What's to say :D. The first day vote is usually random. I don't want to vote Appleguy off since we finally got him to play. Likewise, I don't want to vote for Melrose so I'm not switching my vote to either of them.

Ah, are you hoping that someone saves you or convicts you (howsoever so senselessly)?
