I'm curious too. The rules state:
So if ravenvii is saying it's Cavil, that pretty much makes the last sentence mean nothing, but if he's not saying it's Cavil then why be so specific.... for now I'm assuming flavor, but I could go either way.

sorry to have disappeared on you but some real life crap caught up with me
things are ok but did not have time for games

Excellent! Pieces are starting to fall into place. I'm going to try and pop in a little later to see how night played out, but I may be quiet-ish until tomorrow.

Gaius Baltar sat on his stool watching as the screen shows the analysis of blood samples taken from the people of the fleet. Tigh ordered the blood samples taken from everyone so that they could be automatically analyzed for Cylons.

He grabbed the tablet, copied the results onto the screen and rushed to the CIC, where XO Tigh would be.

As he entered the CIC, everyone's eyes turned on him. "Well? Speak, damn you," snapped Tigh.

"It's -- it's --"

"It's Kara Thrace."
"Starbuck?! Fracking hell!" Tigh grabbed the transceiver and started screaming into it.
"Arrest Starbuck! She's a Cylon! Take her to the brig for questioning!"
"Sharon! Sharon, talk to me!" shouted Helo.
The other cell remained silent. Helo did not stop. "Sharon! Talk to me!"
"You idiot! Tigh! I'm not a fracking Cylon! IDIOT! Baltar is fracking lying! FRACKING FRACKERS!"
Kara "Starbuck" Thrace
A cursing and struggling Starbuck was dragged into the brig by two guards, who shoved her into another adjacent cell and slammed the door.
Jesus. Saul Tigh is fracking everything up, Helo thought as he collapsed on the sole chair in the cell.
Adama needs to wake up. Now.
Baltar has turned to the Cylons' side. No one died. It is now DAY.

Agreed. Even if Don't Panic found another Cylon over night, Sythas is the best bet since he won't explode. Just make sure Don't Panic can reveal his scan before night.
We should get DP's scan no matter what. The next night can't complete without his scan (even if he's the target), at which point he could post in the thread before PM'ing ravenvii.

my guess is one of Jav and Rick is #12, and one of the two's erratic posting behaviour was posed to attract "kamikaze" votes. The other could be Six, or our helpful Silent Panda could be playing an Integrated Scheming evil Six.

No. As has been clarified before, the only thing that must happen each night is the Cylons must target somebody. All other things can be missed if not sent by the overnight deadline.
Doesn't matter now. DP is here and QoS is confirmed clear.

Sythas is likely going to die today, nobody is likely going to vote whatever Sythas votes, so his vote effectively doesn't matter. That means 8 v 1 there against him.
Tonight, somebody (most likely whomever the cylons/starbuck targetted, odds would be Don't Panic but we have no confirmation on that). That leaves us with 7 players tomorrow. The list is 4 cleared v 3 uncleared. Those 4 will vote together against an uncleared, the 3 can't target one of the 4. At worst 12 gets blown up. Now there are 5 left. Overnight 1 more cleared dies, next day it's 2 cleared v 2 uncleared. The human won't vote for themselves, and the cylon won't either. So the 2 cleared will randomly kill one. If the kill the cylon, game over, if they kill the human then another human dies overnight, and it's 1 v 1 the next day which is really a standstill. Of course, a human may not die if Starbuck protects on any given night. This gives the humans an edge.
I'd say it's near impossible to lose at this point, if at all.

Yeah, it's impossible to lose with it being narrowed down to 2 out of 3 people. We can screw up tomorrow, have a failed starbuck, get 12 the next night and lose 2 people and still survive to get the other.

I don't think it is a done deal yet. unless it is different in this game, a tie means the bad guys win..
i can think of at least two worst case scenarios where we lose:
- today sythas is lynched, this seems a given, 8 people remain, 6-2
- tonight one citizen is killed, likely me. 5-2 and no more scans

also keep in mind that if both night kills were failed attacks due to Starbuck's protection, Six and #12 still do not know each other and cannot communicate
But don't underestimate the odds for Starbuck protecting once more the right guy. I guess it's almost a given that you and Chrmjenkins die the next two nights. Unless of course we take out #12 the next day. They have to gamble 50/50 with their second nightly kill (chrmjenkins).
