The first night, I gave an Anheuser-Busch O'dule's to Twietee (being German he obviously preferred an American beer) who was unable to tell us who he scanned.
The second night, I gave a Harpoon Boston Irish Stout to a villager who survived the night. I'll wait on the villager to announce today who they scanned.

Note - 1) I'm now just a regular villager and it clears me of initially being a WW although I can still be infected.
2) An advantage of the bartender is that the person can reveal who they scanned without revealing their role.
3) A disadvantage of the bartender is that the person scanning might be a WW. A WW could still be tripped up by lying about the scan.

I'm waiting on the scan results before voting.

too bad for twietee (although we have to consider suicide now that we know what you forced him to drink, that was cruel)
it puts you a bit more at risk for the night, but hopefully the person who used your scan can as a minimum clear another person.
i agree that the receiver should come forward, as the divulgation of the scan results comes basically with no risks for them

Possibly, but I would rather be taken out then have the WWs kill someone who might be our seer or hunter. Besides, I can't be cleared 100% with the infection in play.

I'm sure it will be explained at the end of the game. It sounded like a comeagain? error might have occurred while fixing up the lack of a seer.

So, we have a number of roles identified, for now: Namely, the NW (who seem to have been @ravenvii and @Dsching), the Bartender - a gregarious role which was ably filled by @Plutonius (I would have been more than happy to sale some of your exotic wares), the Guard (@Tomorrow), and pretty much cleared for now, @Moyank24.

This leaves us with the list above put together by @Don't panic to delve into further a bit further.

Of the eight names, which include myself, @Don't panic, @Queen of Spades, @curmudgeonette, @philbeeney, @mrkramer, @Sythas and @rick snagwell, it is clear that a few of these have been flying somewhat under the radar and have been less visible than they might otherwise have been.

Not really. My own eyebrows remain where they are, just above the farms of my spectacles.

In any case, it was shaping up to be a choice between rick or Sythas, and, in the absence of anything else to go on, I chose Sythas.

Actually, I was tempted to choose rick, but - in a way - he is an easier target, and is someone who, in my experience, is far too easy to pile on; once votes land on him, they don't usually change and he has a history of being voted off quickly once a critical mass of votes develop.

Having said that, forcing a tie is always interesting - not least because it compels individuals to try to defend themselves, or it may serve to flush something out.

Sythas voting for me two days running, and then disappearing, did strike me as odd, and worthy of further examination at some stage. And now that an opportunity to put him under the microscope presented itself, I would have felt very foolish if I hadn't availed of the opportunity to pry further.
