MORNING 4

When they finally reached WoodNUFC’s hidden barge later that evening, surrounded by the rolling mists, everyone was weary and tired.
But there was plentiful, decent food, and that was a welcome change after the last few days on the run.
Queen of Spades, uncharacteristically silent, fixed up a quick onion soup, and then everyone found themselves a cabin or a corner to quarter up and get some sleep.

It was still mostly dark when they woke up.
The barge was moving silently in the mists, WoodNUFC at the till, shouting orders.
Techgod, astroboy, aggie, koodauw get to the poles! Two on each sides. Push now!
Oh come on, you can do better that that!
Rick, go to the front with the peavey hook.. yeah, yeah that one. Sheesh, keep the logs away, will ya?
In an hour will be at the North River fork, then the current will pick up and we’ll be on our way"

It is now day 4.
Everyone is accounted for.
Deadline is at 10 am EST tomorrow wednesday may 14
there are 12 players left, majority is 7

The excitement was palpable in the group.
They had been infiltrated by two of those blasted inquisitors, but now they were both dead.
AND they had unlocked mscriv’s map.
After the debacle at the caves, this was the first time they felt things were moving in the right direction again.

“I don’t know” someone said “this doesn’t feel right”
“Not with the paranoia again” joked Abijnk
“No he is right”, added another voice “there could be more”
“And here comes the party-pooper brigade, in full swing!” Moyank shook her head and rolled her eyes.
“I don’t recall you having any part in the death of either of them”
As moyank turned around to identify who had talked, she faced the unwelcome sight of a handful of small copper coins coming at her at high speed.
“SRSLY?” she lamented as she looked in disbelief as the pennies ripped into her flesh
“you could have at least used gold boxings…”

Moyank, a loyal rebel, has been killed.
It is still night 3

Told ya!

Go get 'em rebels!

Nice.

Either abjink got tried and the last ww wanted to troll us again or thought she lied - if she really is the alu gnat. Or the Guard is still alive and active, which means anything but WoodNUFC being a loyal rebel would be astonishing.

I do believe abjink says the truth. But the bandwagon will come swift and deadly I guess.

Thanks.

I'm pretty much assuming I'll be lynched today, but will say again that a vote for me is a wasted vote.

Can you give a list of suspects? You haven't voiced many opinions but I'd like to hear one before it's too late... :D

Firstly, it seems that there is a clear distinction to be made between the murder of Moyank and the fact that, according to the GG: "Everyone is accounted for." I suspect that Moyank was killed with - perhaps - by the 'Duraluminium Gnat', or, by another, not entirely dissimilar power, that of the Coinshot, the Hunter.

However the fact that "Everyone was accounted for" indicates that the Lurcher - Guard - successfully protected someone who was possibly a target last night.

Secondly, I think we have been handicapping ourselves (I include myself in this) by our tendency to seek precedents in the WW world. The world of the Mistings differs significantly from that of the WW universe.

Thirdly, we seem to have lost sight of the fact that a WW would appear to be a Kandra; this might explain how the killings can take a variety of forms, and indeed, how the remaining killer can take a variety of forms.

Fourthly, for my part, I would be grateful if the late ravenvii was scanned by our Augur; it will help eliminate - or confirm possibilities.

Remember, it takes the Kandra a night to compete the process of Shapeshifting; however, that leaves the Kandra with the powers of whatever body he or she inhabits subsequently, a power that changes daily.

Thus, we are not dealing with a WW with 'static' and predictable powers. We are dealing with someone whose powers change nightly, powers that, for the most part we are still not cognisant of.

Moreover, bear in mind that the remains of any of the deceased may be used for this purpose - Inquisitor, or Rebel. I suspect our remaining Kandra/Inquisitor has a daily increasing selection of remains from which to choose a fresh disguise.

At the moment, if - granted, an 'if' - abijnk is who she says she is - she strikes me as being a fairly easy, and all too obvious, target.

Instead, before taking any hasty action, I suggest that we take a look at Koodauw, who has been fairly quiet.

Moreover, in the absence of a successful protection - which is entirely possible - another explanation for the successful survival of the company is the fact that our Inquisitor Kandra was busy discarding one set of remains and busily ingesting another, making the act of carrying out a successful kill rather difficult.

My list :D

Koodauw, chrmjenkins, aggie
TechGod, Rick

Voting for Koodauw since he really got silent all of a sudden.

----------

What a coincidence! :eek::cool:

you guys check out post 177. you really think koodauw voted for his fellow ww touch when the heat was on southern dad, and he could of gone sythas too?

no since they were voting for each other, they could of been thinking touch would be gone soon just because he is new and easy target, and wrote him off as the first loss...thus voting for him like this to make it harder down the road when we analyze past votes.

First of all I'd like to hear what Koodauw has to say. It looks like some people only respond when put under pressure. TechGod is a bit too confused for my taste, but I'd rather check first one of the tough, veteran guys. I'm open to switch to any of them. Ss's post and vote came while I was typing - so no bandwagoning.

^add Astroboy to orange, forgot him.

what about if the guard came out and said who he/she protected. that would clear two more players, and perhaps two that we are suspecting?

assuming it was a guard that made it no kills last night.

aggie it is then. No vote for touch, strong defense because of 'following' Pluto's ravenvii vote.

I have read it and I think it is possible that the Expansion of Time - and then Compression of Time - which both happened unexpectedly - could have taken an early voter for imaketouchtheme by surprise, too early to remedy his position.

So, yes, even allowing for that, he has been strangely silent, and was quite prominent in voting for -aggie- yesterday.

I posted above that the 'No-Kill' could have come about in one of two ways. The first is a successful protection.

The second is that the Inquisitor/Kandra was busily discarding one set of remains and ingesting another - which might have prevented this individual from successfully carrying out an act of murder.

Yesterday, I was exceedingly busy, and so speed read the backlog of posts; today, my immediate deadlines having passed, I was able to re-read much of what I had briefly scanned yesterday and so pick up a few points which were neatly embedded in a few posts. As a scholar of Terris, I should hang my head in shame at having missed a few obvious……statements.

While I am not sure that the Guard should reveal themselves just yet, or even soon, I confess that I am curious as to what powers some of our deceased may have been, as this will help tell us what our Kandra might be up to.

Edit: I very much doubt that -aggie- is one of our doubtful characters.

My suspicions lie much more with Koodauw, a merchant whose job allows him cover for movement in our strictly controlled society, and our mummer poet, who, despite the fact that I love his writings and work, also practices a profession which allows him easy movement…...

Ravenvii was a normal WW Leecher.

Thank you. I suspect that this power - one of the single-use Allomantic powers - may have been already used. Yet, it could still be extant.

However, I will examine my notes while pondering further before posting further.

Thanks. Good news with the Kamikaze left.

Really? Then how did Moyank die?

It could have been the Duraluminium Gnat ...(Kamikaze), using his/her power. It could have been the Kandra using the power of a deceased Coinshot (Hunter)….…...

Really? Then how did Moyank die?

Sorry, I thought the Mistborn Kamikaze worked as the normal one! But it has to be the Kamikaze left. So the coinshot could possibly still be available. Maybe the lone wolf got depressed and reacted with a sudden strike at abijnk and Moyank altogether? Could be.

It has to be since only two ww get random misting powers. Only the Kamikaze does not. We already killed those two. = Leecher and Slider

edit: response to ss

I think it's either you, Astroboy, or chrmjenkins.

Exactly. At least someone is listening to what I said yesterday.

Sorry, aggie can't be the ww either anymore imo after Pluto's latest info. And I believe what aggie said about being the tineye or seeker. Note: aggie, if you'd been the tineye one couldn't clear you yesterday and it still would be true what you said about Pluto. Anyway
