but are we sure if plutonius and aggie even know that this game is being played and it has started?

EDIT: ok, what the heck, i'll start with a retaliation vote for Appleguy. ;)
I know it's lame, but I have zero rationale for anyone at this point so at least this is somewhat of a reason. I remain open to change it at any time, though.

Everyone got a game is starting PM, so you can't use the lack of a PM to infer they aren't specials. Still, I don't want to vote for either.

You wanna bet?
Immediately after we infected him in game 9.

Simple five, where he was a kamikaze WW. I can't quote directly, because the thread is locked.

And of course this game.

I am sure you can find the same kind of posts from me in every game, including those where i have been one of the goodies

EDIT: chris, i am just saying that they might not even be aware that this game exists, since it was quickly decided today and they might have been offline. we were kind of drafted into this specific game, rather then sign up. :)

It might be so, but I haven't noticed them.

Actually, speaking of IRC, would anyone be interested in something like a Game Manager program?

Pretty fuzzy idea, but I could program something in PHP/JS/HTML on a free serve host. So you could actively track who has votes, who voted who kills etc etc, and making voting a automatic job rather then manual.

would it be something like stonyC excel sheet?

Similar, but hopefully, you wouldn't need anyone to update anything.

So you write in your post.
'I think this person is really acting shady
[VOTE]Person[/VOTE]'

,post it and then the server would examine your post and see you vote for PERSON and update the tally.

You could also have count downs to end of days and nights, so to avoid confusion with deadlines.

That sounds pretty cool. Especially the count downs...

I like it.

not sure i follow: the game would be played on that server/forum or the program would just scan the game thread in this forum and update the external page?

Well, I was thinking that I would host it on the other free server (thread and all) but I guess i COULD write something that would examine the thread here and see if I could split it that way.

that would be better, if doable.
to migrate on a separate server would be to preclude the possibility of recruiting from the site at large just by people seeing the thread and getting curious.

I was thinking about setting up a game manager for this game, but I know zil about coding, so I shelved the idea.

Awesome to see it might become reality.

Grrrr, the game started and I was unable to get the first vote in :(.

Since we all know Appleguy is infallible and always has correct predictions :p, I know "Don't Panic" isn't the wolf. But based on my track record of wrong predictions, I know that "Don't Panic" is the wolf. Appleguy has suspiciously not claimed to be a special this game so I'm voting for Appleguy since he's not special :).

I'm with you there. Appleguy's best defense is always a good offense. More than once I've been on the receiving end of his suspicions...and all those times he was wrong. But he sure is enthusiastic about it! :D

I'm torn between voting for who I'm most scared of being a wolf (DP) and most scared of voting for me because of prior history of starting the snowball (appleguy). I'm going to vote neither, however, because at this point only one person hasn't chimed in and it's best to lose the person who isn't participating anyway. -aggie-. I'll change my vote if he pops his head in, because he's a valuable villager.

Sorry, I just found out last night late that the game was starting, and there weren’t many posts (still aren’t). Anyway, I don’t have any thoughts on who to vote for yet. I’m not going to vote just to vote.

You can't be a special in every game. ;)
I'm an not a wolf, and if I be lynched next, go for don't panic next in memoriam of me. Okay?
Why the insults of my track record? I've been right at least as many time as I've been wrong( I'm talking about the ones where I claim an 'almost sure' or give a high percentage).
Also, dp is a good player. He's used the night references to seem innocent, because a bad player surely wouldn't want to be that obvious.
If I be the one lynched, he will claim that we would not lead a vehement offense against a person he knew was good. That'd be too obvious, right?
Seer if I am lynched, scan don't panic tonight, and come out if he be a wolf.
We'd know that I was good. (6 possible bad people)
We'd know that you were good. ( 5 possible)
We'd know that dp was bad( 1 baddie gone 1 left in 3, one will be killed that night).

The iPad Fanboys finally stopped fighting over iPhone tethering ethics and read the police reports that where handed out to them by a police man.

"Warning: Reports of a pickpocket within local queue line have been reported. If you see anything suspicious call 0118 999 881 999 199 7253 to report the reported incident."

They all started to recall odd things they saw. But the thing that stuck out the most was appleguy123's licking of the Apple Store's window. It wasn't really something that was along the lines of a pickpocket, but the fact that he licked the window was enough for a few people to report him. After trying to get a call to go through, they got the local station and reported appleguy123. The police car arrive and promptly carted away appleguy.

appleguy123 was removed from the queue for the iPad, but was not the wolf/pickpocket. Specials PM me.

appleguy,
i am sorry to see you go and i do hope your tongue is ok after the cops detached from the frozen window, but
a) i didn't lead any vehement attack on you, and
b) i have not questioned your track record (which is neither good nor bad based on the number you have given).
i simply said and still maintain you are barking up the wrong tree, the fact that you were not the pickpocket doesn't support in any way whatsoever that you were right in accusing me.
even if you were the seer, you wouldn't know anything more than anyone else until tomorrow at the earliest.
the only person that knows something at the moment is the thief and his/her accomplice (if he has one already).

but don't worry, we'll send you an e-card down to the joint as soon as we get our brand newipad2 :)

and as far as the PM/night activity commentaries, i have been holding for a while that the main issue with the game is pace and particularly the night bottleneck, so i tend to comment on such things more frequently then others

One more thing: get them PMs in!!! :D

The end of the night was arriving. The sleepy Fanboys rubbed their eyes and dreamed some more about the ultra neat iPad 2. Oh how they wanted it. Knowing that their credit cards, the few that had them, would be maxed out by their shopaholic spouse; they all brought exact change for their iPad and left their cards at home. Some of the creative places that this exact change was kept include, the battery compartment of a Macbook, a left sock on a foor, the wang flap of a pair of briefs, and the right cup of a pink Victoria's Secret lace push-up brassiere. Yet even with all of these keen and clever hiding places, someone still lost their money in the night. Poor -aggie-, his money safely hidden in the sole of his right Nike+ shoe, was no longer there. It had been taken. After lots of tears and screaming, he packed up his canned beans and left.

It is now the start of a 24 hour day.
