[WW] Simple Werewolville X - Intell's Interim Game - Game Over Wolf Won

Tough gig, aggie. One post and you've been done in.

In other related news, Game Manager, I've goten the data that I need, now I just need to extract it. Hopefully, I might have a bare bones basic demo at some stage on the weekend.

Yeah, that sucks, but I’m used to it by now.

OP, make sure you bold the people voted off or killed to make it easier to tell. Just my two cents.
 
I am afraid it's going to be very hard to get our hands on one of those pre release iPad2. In fact, we are already at a watershed:
if we miss the wolf today we are basically done.

it's 5 vs 1 now (assuming no infection/recruitment happened yet), if we get the wrong person arrested it will be 4-1, after the night it is 3-1, and with the recruitment it becomes 2-2: game over, unless the two good guys can get both votes in for one of the thieves before the two thieves get their (coordinated) votes in for one of the goodies. Improbable, but not impossible.

Traditionally 2-2 has been a unanimous victory for wolves in the rules. Intell is free to change that if he likes. I actually think it would be cooler because it forces people to pay attention and get antsy about that last day, but it's kind of unfair with the timezone differences in some instances.

That being said, I still have no clue who our bad guy is. However, I'm going to say it's Cerebrus' Maw because we need to start putting pressure on everyone here. And he voted me, and that's just nonsportsmanly.

We may do better to assume that recruitment has happened...at this point it could be 4 vs 2...which means we are in some trouble but it also means we would have double the chance of getting a baddie.

I also guess, since we've heard nothing from the seer, he scanned a good guy.

I'll go with NathanMuir, who seems a bit quieter than usual.

that's why i don't think recruitment has occurred yet, it only increases the chances they get caught, without a real need for it.

so far:

cerebrus 1 vote (chrmjenkins)
nathanmuir 1 vote (moyank)


I'll go with plutonius then, so i am sure the thief has at least one vote, and is one vote away from being exposed. that should put some pressure on him/her

TBH, I haven't posted because nothing of consequence or interest has happened.

I'm going to stick with my previous vote of Plutonius and I'll be sure to check in more regularly from now on. :p

Or it could mean that a good guy is one vote away from saving themselves. For instance, NM could come in here and vote for you, giving us all a vote. In the case of a tie, does the person who got the first vote go? In that case it would mean I would go, so if I changed my vote to any of the other guys with one vote...it doesn't mean I'm a bad guy, just a good guy trying to save myself.

i agree, but it still keeps thing suspended, and the thief on his/her toes, at least for now.

EDIT: i didn't notice that nathan voted too. the balance is broken now, and pluto is on the hot seat

I'm afraid of #1 to be honest. At this point, with no hint from a seer, we don't have much to go on. And one of us 3 will be forced into making a move, regardless of guilt or innocence.

Yeah, that is the unfortunate part. Two nights just really isn't enough time for the seer. (that's assuming the seer gets two nights. A wrong lynching plus werewolf kill and infection tonight means game over with only one scan).

ok, with less than 15' before the deadline, I am going to make a change in vote, and i hope someone else follows suit.

here is my reasoning:

- i am a good guy. if i weren't i would just keep quiet, let the deadline arrive and win the game.

- i don't think the infection has occurred yet, because there was no need for it, the thief is in a very good spot odd-wise.

- if the thief is one of the three persons with 2 votes, they are playing a very risky game: any one vote switching could spell disaster.

- if Plutonius is the bad guy, is playing an even more risky game trying to get me to save him when he could easily save himself and win the game. in fact, he could infect someone (including me), and then coordinate a vote change to chris or moyank (depending on the infected person), get them to 4 votes and with a few minutes to go it would be insurmountable, i think.
for this reason i think plutonius is not a bad guy

- for similar, almost as compelling reasons, i think moyank and chris would have at this point acted and made sure they win, if they were the bad guys.

- the inactivity of the the three of them suggests to em that they are probably good.

- if i am right, (a 40% chance), than the bad guy is nathan or cerebrus.
i honestly don't have a clue between the two of them, so i will go with nathan, based on not much really.

- this leaves Moyank as the lynchee, unless other people change their votes in the next 15 minutes or so.
i suggest that you do, because if we lynch the wrong person, as mentioned earlier, it is more than likely game over, as the thief/wolf can kill one tonight, infect tomorrow morning and close the game

act swiftly.
