As WoodNUFC was being dragged to the gallows to be hung, Moyank24 feels like something is wrong. Really wrong.

She could do nothing but watch as WoodNUFC was dragged to the top of the platform, begging and pleading. The hangman put the nook over WoodNUFC's neck and kicked him over the platform with a laugh.

As WoodNUFC's life slowly left his body as he thrashed in the air, Moyank24 watched the hangman. Something is very wrong.

The hangman smiled. And Don't panic, the owner of the largest estate in the village, turned to face the crowd with a hungry look in his eyes.

"Captain, I think it's time we reap what we sow," Don't panic said. The hangman hopped down to the ground.

And Moyank24 knew. They were doomed.

"Why?!" Moyank24 shouted.

"Why? Ah, a single word, always a good question," Don't panic said. "I tended the village as one would a farm and never went hungry. Unfortunately, during the recent days, you begun to hang yourselves one by one, and indeed one werewolf. The soil has became weak. It is time to burn the ground and grow the crops anew."

The hangman leaped with a snarl -- he has transformed during Don't panic's speech.

Don't panic calmly transformed and the feast begun.

Haha! Of course Mo and I would be turned against each other.

Good game wolves.

I had a suspicion that DP was evil, but oh well.

Next time, villagers!

Oops!!

Great job guys.

It's funny because every time rick has been bandwagoned he's always been clean, but he's just been someone that everyone always suspects - now he can't complain about being voted for anymore!! :D

def helped a little bit!

thanks raven for getting the WW game going again.

I was pretty certain that rick was a baddie from early on, - it was a feeling I had from very, very early, and gradually, as the game went on, began to suspect DP as well. Normally, he takes the lead in protecting the village but this time, I noticed that his replies were very low key at the outset, and less than helpful and deliberately confusing later on.

Well done WWs. Poor game by the village, who never argued - or thought - as a unit, and were easily led astray by distractions.

yes, you were spot on, we had to kill you very quick...

good game Rick and thanks Ravenvii for running it and everyone for the fun
it was tricky with rick at the center of the attention from early on and Queen out at the get go.
we also got a huge break with sythas forced out from the beginning
i actually thought that sythas was the hunter and scepticalscribe the seer and that scepticalscribe was pretending to have received a message she had sent, to let sythas know it was her.
well, it made snse to me! :D
sythas, you took a pretty big risk sending out the message on day one!

Told you all that DP was a wolf because of the tactics at play.

Yes, I was increasingly suspicious when no attempt seemed to have been made on his life; usually, he is an early target. For what it is worth, I did have a debate with myself as to whether I should protect himself or Moyank on one of the nights, but decided not to, in case I inadvertently protected a furry (which wouldn't have been the first time that egregious error had been made by me in the course of a game in the WWville universe).

Actually, because the game 'days' were so long, I lost track of time somewhat, as, at the moment, I am in a very different time zone, and occasionally, I had to remind myself to check in to keep in touch with what was happening and - losing track of time, I protected myself a night too early - it was too late to correct it by the time I realised my error.

Oh, well, you live and learn. Or, more to the point, in the world of WWville, you get killed and learn.

Yes, but i had no choice, I knew I was going to be killed fast, so I wanted to clear as much I could.

Agreed. Once you had outed yourself as a special, you were a marked man. The tragedy of it was that I couldn't protect you for two consecutive nights, - I could protect you only once - but that is what the rules are designed to prevent, I suppose.

However, you played your hand very well, I thought, given that you knew your time was so limited as you had been outed. A pity you didn't last another day or two. In any case, I erred the following night (because I got my times mixed up), but you did very well in the circumstances.

Of course both you and SS knew :p. That's why you both focused on Plutonius unless it was misdirection to make the WW overconfident :D.

That is 100% caused by turns with a majority vote and no deadline. People either lost track of the game, were waiting on everyone else to vote, or just bandwagoned even though they would rather chose someone else since it was the only way to end the turn (Rick would have been dead otherwise). I recognize the issues with deadlines but, I believe games without deadlines have even more issues.

No, I wasn't concentrating; at that time, I was only vaguely suspicious about DP, (I was surprised at the lowkey role he appeared to be playing, but it was a public holiday, and the 'days' in the game were so long that I lost track of time, and I am in a very different timezone so paying close attention after the first two days - especially with the 'cop-out' allowed to everyone because of that public holiday in the US - became something I had to remind myself to do), but I was very suspicious about rick from the start.

Well, I got killed mindlessly other times, so it happens, and happens to all of us on occasion, but I have to say you weren't exactly proactive; having said that, I think I would prefer some sort of deadline, too.

Actually, I got the sense that nobody took responsibility for 'rallying' the village, and when most people checked in, they just went along with the drift. The really unfortunate thing was that Sythas was unmasked so early; we could have done with him - and his skills - for another day or two. However, I have to say that he played brilliantly for as long as he remained with us.

To be fair, one has to mention that it was poor ol' twietee who openly and repeatedly accused DP of being a wolf first (see post #56 and the following) and it seems like he had to die for that so very young. He may had voted accordingly if it wouldn't have been him trying to stop Plutonius from murdering the Seer. #cantdoeverythingalone

/ history lesson

I know, I know, I know. Mistakes all around; sorry about that, and well spotted about DP - I didn't pick up on that until after I was murdered by which time I had become certain of his guilt. Still, while it was most unfortunate that you were sadly killed on the first day, it would have been worse to have killed Sythas, given the role he had.

We must try to ensure that you live longer than the first day next time. Mind you, it would come as no surprise to learn that random.org or whatever body does the selecting of roles may well have selected you to be the alpha WW in such circumstances!
