Congrats, wolves.

Not sure I'm a fan of this style of game, personally. Very little interaction, and speed in favor of pretty much anything else. Not nearly enough intrigue.

i think that is a credit to the WW's

Then I guess we disagree. Unless the villagers got lucky, they were bound to lose. The game was too short (not due to time, just due to people and roles).

Agreed. I don't think the 72 hour time cap was a bad thing, but the rest of the game didn't offer much of anything. Ah well... live and learn!

BTW don't take my comments as being a poor winner or a slight against the winners... I just found this format less fun than a normal WW game is all... nobody's fault... it was worth trying out. And you all or more than welcome to play the format again... I just won't be there (which may be a positive!).

No, yeah, I hope mine aren't taken that way either. I've been on the losing side playing this game many times, believe me. And I certainly appreciate ravenvii trying something new and running a game. He's a champ. :)

Yeah, the game kind of sucked :D

But hey, the game accomplished the other half of its purpose -- as a quick-n-dirty filler until SilentPanda's epic game.

The time cap barely came into play at all. Maybe someday I'll try it with a different combination to try to force it to come into play and see how that goes. And I actually have a couple of good ideas...

But first!

SilentPanda, you ARE going to start that game... right? :D

I tell you what... I have next week off work. I'll take some time to ref(play Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX)ine it. Maybe we can try it after Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving?

I think the time cap did come into play. I would never have voted for the lock on day one so early if we didn't have a time limit. I thought it was a good game and an interesting twist. As a village I think its on us to slow things down and demand people explain votes.I was guilty of pushing for a lock quickly. Learning experience for this format.

Statistically speaking with only two wolves, and 9 players, the village should have won. So I say well done to the wolves. Their coordinated effort to lock after 1 person had voted on the last day was the way to do it. When numbers are that low, and you're voting first you have to sure.

But there's nothing to explain...

Statistically it's more likely for wolves to win. First day is pure luck. Odds are a villager will be lynched. Odds are a villager is killed that night. 2nd day at best you might have the seer find a wolf and announce. If that doesn't happen you can at best have seer and hunter come out, announce who was scanned. 1 in 4 chance of getting a wolf then. If you don't it's pretty much game over. Next day the wolves wait for any vote not for them and they lock it in.

i can run a similar one to this one, just need a ghostwriter for the narratives. i can't write.

they can even be playing, ill just pm them with the day/night outcome.

there will be no time limit as well.

anyone down for a game?

I'm waiting for SilentPanda's game. But I've been busy lately, and will be for a bit more, with Thanksgiving, finals, the holidays and my move in January.

I have a feeling everyone else is similarly busy. I might run a little Christmas-themed game in a couple weeks, but that's it until February probably.
