The covered banner says:

"Minesweeper. Now for the iPhone."
;)

The keynote will consist of Steve playing Minesweeper for a couple hours, with an announcement at the end that everyone in the audience will get a free copy.

But seriously, is anyone expecting anything surprising this time around? We don't usually know what the surprise will be, but there's often an indication that there will be one. Not this year as far as I can tell. The rumor round-up seems to confirm that not a lot is expected this time around. Some people expect a tablet, but besides that what's out there? (I know about me.com rumors, but this wouldn't be much of a surprise either...)

While I am very eagerly awaiting the new iPhone and am curious what's in store for OS X, I hope Steve has something up his sleeve. Either Apple has really kept something under wraps, or my prediction may not be far wrong...

Why are they starting to close the retail stores? It makes sense that they would close the online store, but why are they starting to close all the retail stores?

Are you joshing?
If I'm peeing myself in anticipation, I should probably find a toilet to sit on before the actual keynote.

Just when I was looking to buy a MacMini...(yeah right ) Belgian store down, as well as all other European ones.

They were unpacking stuff at Taco System in Waterloo friday and when I asked if they were the boxes seen on the web, the guy's face flushed :D

Yeah, like 20 minutes ago man, get with the program! ;)
Also, how do you know that the Retail stores are closing? wouldn't that suggest an immediate launch/?? (although I guarantee there won't be one)

Same reason, I'd imagine. So they can set up the new iPhone displays and whatnot during the keynote.

ehhh, OSX on PC...stupid stupid STUPID we need to make them suffer until they transfer over to the REAL apple computers.
