next gen iPods
I'd been holding out as long as possible on buying a new MacBook but had to give in this week. It'll mainly be used with external screen and keyboard so makes little difference to me.
What I am holding out for is a new iPod big enough to take my full music collection (which means I'm probably too close for comfort to buy the 80gb by the time formatting losses are taken into account). I'm wondering if there's much point in waiting however -
- it's going to be some time before a solid state iPod with c100gb of storate is available
- a hard drive based iPod touch with 160gb is still likely to be too expensive to be a realistic launch.
What do other people think?
