Why are you not doing it on AVForums for that matter? :p

I think they're all over here! :D

I've also got my iPad on http://xbox.mobi to watch MS's E3 show.....

Forgot all about the Xbox E3 event.

Major geek out day.

a new notification system involving a dropdown at the top of the screen accessible by swiping downward.
So just like android then ?

Nothing wrong with copying a good feature.

Very cool. Thanks for the coverage. I just purchased a brand new iMac and it obviously won't come pre-loaded with Lion so I hope they offer some kind of discount or free upgrade if it's released in the next few weeks.

my MBP was shipped today, so i hope for the same

All of the pomp and pageantry Apple puts on must make it exciting for those in attendance.

But it sure does make the morning drag by as you're waiting for the event to start.

Dunno what 4chan is, but I was just trying to lighten the mood, as some folks in here are getting a little....grumpy....

Indeed. Frankly, I'm a little surprised at the lack of respect some users have. In what is likely Steve's last WWDC, we have quite a few people with their priorities out of whack. :(

The big announcement today will be that they no longer need to take down the online Apple Store to update products....

...edit...wow, tough crowd. maybe i should have put a /s there...

What a great pic.

I wish Woz was back running the recently spun off Apple Computer Inc. :apple:

Anyone know the wallpaper on the iphone splashpage in the article update? Ive been looking for it for ages! Thanks (oh and preferably ipad size!)

25 minutes to go! All hunkered down in the man-cave, waiting for the ball to get rolling! Fingers crossed for iWork '11!

Most excited (and potentially disappointed) about iCloud. I hope for my home folder (or at least the iTunes and iPhone libraries) in the cloud, and really really hope it's just not another music streaming service (I don't like Spotify, nor Wimp).

iOS 5 and Lion could be interesting, too, but it's iCloud I'm looking forward to.

In other news:

"Simfy files antitrust complaint against Apple in Germany

German company Simfy has filed an anti-trust complaint against Apple with Germany’s competition authority, The Bundeskartellamt.

Simfy, a music streaming service similar to Spotify, is currently only available in the German, Swiss and Austrian markets.

Simfy claims Apple is purposely holding back the approval of their iPad app as they prepare to announce their own iCloud service. Apple has confirmed the announcement of their iCloud service today at the 2011 Worldwide Developers Conference, but has not yet revealed what the service will provide or how it will work.

Ciaran O’Leary, a Simfy investor, claims they have been notified that the app has reached the highest level of approval but has since stalled, and Apple has not responded to communication, including letters from their lawyers.

Apple’s decision to create a “closed” market for applications on their iOS devices drew some ire at its announcement, and at times their criteria for approving or rejecting apps has appeared to be whimsical.

In this case, they have seemingly prevented a competitor (albeit a small-scale one) from entering a comparable product into the market before the announcement of their own. Simfy already has an iPhone app out (as does Spotify), but getting their iPad app to market first would be a significant coup for the German startup."

Can't wait. This should be good!

I'd like a revamped notification system for iOS5-- and I want my iPhone4 to run whatever they come up with for iOS5 smooth as butter.

I'd also like to explore Lion, and really dig the idea of digital updates instead of DVD based.

Very interested in iCloud services. Hope they're free for me, since I already pay $99 for MobileMe every year.

So I was already geeked about this event... did they really have to have some covered banners? Really? Damn you :apple: ...

Am I the only one looking at the iCloud rumors and thinking, "Meh, big deal"?

I agree however FREE Mobile Me would be nice, and I would pay for the price diff for my family pack, this thing is really nice especially that everyone has Mac's and iPhone's in my house works really well.
