WWDC [2015 4th Generation] ATV Prediction Thread

Just to rub it in:
Location: Switzerland
internet Connection: 1Gbps symmetric, unmetered, unristricted Fibre
Price: 65CHF per Month, that's the price of 10 Big Macs in this country
And for mobile, there's a 49CHF per month, 10gig data, 10k texts, 10k minutes.
obATV: I was SO ready to push the button after WWDC... SO longing for an App Store...

Theory on why Apple TV presentation was killed...
A little history -- before the proposed TW-Comcast merger, Apple was supposedly close to deal allowing the Apple TV to act as a set top box for TW. Comcast killed that (conjecture, of course -- but they are all about their X1).
Perhaps Apple in response decided to develop their over the top service but ran into all types of licensing issues and thought it'd just be easier to work with Charter/TW, given that both companies have hinted they want out of the set top box business (and are planning on merging, of course.)
Prediction: The new Apple TV will function as a set top box for the combined Charter/TW entity's service.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We will not see this on the back of any Apple TV product, ever.
