Unless I've done the mathS wrong, that's a take of $11.2m for 5 days!! Regardless of profit, that's pretty WOW!! Can almost buy an iMac Pro AND a MacBook Pro (with Touchbar, too) for that!!

So have I got to wait for this for my new iMac, or is there a chance it will pop up next month?

iOS 13 will probably be the most exciting thing Apple announces this year... Unless they disappoint and underwhelm as they have been known to do.

No expectations at all. Their product line has become massively convoluted, and several SKUs are inexcusably outdated or have no reason for existence. As for OS releases, I wish they broke the annual cycle if it meant delivering better fleshed out, more compelling pieces of software. Just take the time to get it RIGHT rather than just delivering lame iterations round the clock

WWDC is Apple’s most important event each year. Maybe not to stock analysts but to anyone who actually gives a **** about the Apple platform

Yeah, since iPhones are being used longer and the incentive to upgrade yearly is much lower? Each iOS update is more meaningful. iOS 12 isn’t the update we all wanted, but it was what we needed from a performance standpoint. That’s where I think iOS 13 can be a renaissance like iOS 7 was.

Well no, it's not more meaningful, and that kinda proves the point I wrote above about annual releases. Clearly it's too soon, and the first .0 release is always broken left right and centre.

Had they taken 2 years and released a fully troubleshooted iOS 11 (since pretty much everybody was fine with iOS 10) that would have kept a lot of people happy. Maybe with provisional updates for the iPad (where iOS 11 brought some very welcome innovations, while iOS 12 is not only a complete snoozer, but broke gesture control just so it's consistent with iPhone X patterns)

I doubt they can achieve an "iOS renaissance" unless they bring Forstall back. Best case, they'll come up with belch physics for Animoji's.

I think apples software legacy is far more interesting—the hardware does further the software particularly for iPhone but having a huge renaissance update such as ios 7 really breathes life into your devices and makes the day to day experience for what you already have significantly different and cool

we always know its around june 5th not really a story for 4 months away is it lol

MacOS: what’s that?
iOS 13: we added another row of icons.
tvOS: single sign on this time. We swear
watchOS: always on display! Jk, new dial colors.
Mac Pro: $9,999, one usb-c port.
Apple Display: 720p ultra super display.

Mark my words.

Yeah do that and watch the rest of the "professional" users move to Windows. The ones that have not already left that is.

Emulation = always sucks
You’re right there definitely was a simulation moving from PowerPC to intel. But it worked out mostly. But who knows since they already announced iOS apps on Mac being easy and not being a simulation..maybe it won’t be too bad. Then we just have to wait a few years for all pro apps to convert. In the long run it’ll be interesting.

Are we still expecting a March event to introduce some new hardware such as new Airpods and AIrPower and, probably, a new Mac or two?

Only positive thing I think we can really count on hearing about is a dark mode for iOS. Anything else that’s good in the keynote will be a pleasant surprise. We’ll probably see plenty of augmented reality games and other fluff that appeals to only about 2% of the iPhone user base. Steve Jobs used to thrill everyone with exciting new hardware reveals at WWDCs, but those days are long gone. Last time we had an exciting hardware reveal at a WWDC was way back in 2012 (the summer after Jobs died) when the retina MacBook Pros were unveiled.
