I like San Francisco as the location for WWDC better. I have only been to one WWDC in San Jose(compared to 8 in SF) but I like the Moscone Center better and there is more to do in San Francisco. I was hoping that they would move it back after the construction work was complete. I know it closer to Apple HQ so it makes it easier for the employee's to get there and it is probably cheaper to rent then the Moscone Center but overall I didn't think San Jose was that much cheaper for me.

I guess we have to wait until June for new iMacs. Two years between updates huh?o_O
Oh, the humanity! /s

Considering it likely takes almost 6 months to get "sign offs" from all the affected departments and Contractors/Suppliers, and ANOTHER 6-8 months to get "Agency Approvals" from HOW many Countries worldwide, in, for example, a ONE year "Update Cycle", how much time is REALLY left for, um, Engineering?

With the slowdown in CPU and memory advancements, a two-year hardware update cycle seems about right, quite frankly.

Yeah do that and watch the rest of the "professional" users move to Windows. The ones that have not already left that is.

Emulation = always sucks
They will only do this with the "budget" Macs, at least for a long time (7-10 years, IMHO).

This will be the preview year to iOS Mac.

Locked down, with only Apple in control. No power switch, no software update panel, etc. but no worry, Apple will care of all of your devices for you.

I am so glad Apple is no much smarter than we are. And we look good using Apple devices, what a perfect combination.
PLEASE give it a rest, willya?

Yeah, since iPhones are being used longer and the incentive to upgrade yearly is much lower? Each iOS update is more meaningful. iOS 12 isn’t the update we all wanted, but it was what we needed from a performance standpoint. That’s where I think iOS 13 can be a renaissance like iOS 7 was.
Speak for yourself!

As an owner of an iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12 was probably the best Update Ever!

Can't wait for the new modular Mac Pro!
THAT's the spirit!!!

Why are you defending Apple's charging a huge premium for current iMacs with 2 generations ago processors and a $1400 premium for NVME SSD that could be had for a small fraction? There are billions of dollars on the line...that's the incentive to get contractors, suppliers, agency approvals and whatever else in time. Cause if they don't, their customers will eventually find a way to move their money to cheaper PC offerings. Users here are not giving apple $2 - 5K per iMac for charity and to take their time.
