I liked it. No padding due to over enthusiastic clapping and an engaging presentation. I want to see more of Apple Park, actually. But macOS transition to Apple silicon seemed underwhelming, and felt that should have been live, somehow.

"Worst" seems a bit extreme. They obviously put a lot of effort, thought, and energy into it. Sure, I prefer the traditional presentation, but that wasn't feasible this year, so I'm not sure how they could have done much better given the restraints.
It's the only one that wasn't live, so no, I don't think that's an extreme comment. Of course they put thought into it. I'm sure Justin Bieber puts thought into his albums, too. That doesn't automatically make it good. And I don't know what energy you thought you saw (except the obnoxious Craig running around for a cheap laugh), but I thought without any kind of instant feedback or reaction it was completely bland and boring. It should have just been a video uploaded to their website, not a faux "live stream" that we couldn't even scrub through.

Wow, ok. Not sure what else they could have done, seeing as they couldn't have a live audience, but whatever. My point is they definitely didn't half-ass it.

Well...there you go! No Parallels support unless Parallels finds a way to create a native Apple Silicon-based app/ARM-based app that can then virtualize x86-64.

So, it looks like Windows support is officially going the way of the dodo folks!
Wouldn't this mean that Parallels is already working on a version for the Apple Silicon that can virtualize X86_64 systems?

Yes.

Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) revealed many innovative developments, including a demo featuring a prototype of a forthcoming version of Parallels Desktop for Mac running on Mac with Apple Silicon.
