It's been done with third party audio makers, they can sell you dongles that can send it through your other equipment.

I meant existing models with CarPlay functionality. I doubt they’ll get the new deeper integration features

"Cellular devices" as a category are actually a pretty strict regulatory environment....

The transceivers are, everything else is not... but that's a very simple regulatory environment that has no serious risks. You don't carry personal injury liability or medical insurance for a phone.

I'm going to keep watching to see if they talk about it in the Mac portion of this, but I'm disappointed. They ask for feedback, but that feedback has gotten ignored for 6 years.

That CarPlay full integration thing will come to a few super expensive cars in a few years.

Not a good sign. There're probably some devices that'll be dropped.

Will the activity using the iPhone's motion include standing? Sometimes I don't always have my Watch on early or late in the day, but I have my iPhone, and my standing doesn't get counted. Hopefully this helps with that.

Putting away all these devices a couple hours before bed is what will actually help.
