He gives me Mark Cerny vibes. This watch fella gives me young Steve and Garth vibes
Hats off chap
with each car purchase, you will probably have to sign something that says. *iPhone required to utilize vehicleI’m assuming all these CarPlay changes still require an iPhone so what do you see on the screen/HUD when an iPhone isn’t in the car?
I have a feeling we will get 3rd party "theming" on iOS 17 and watchOS 10New watch faces are underwhelming.
Add third party support!!
Likely cars with updated screens as to take advantage of the new features, cars need more screen real estate or even new guts to power it."Vehicles will start to be announced late next year." Caught the tail end of that, but was that Apple saying when the first Apple Car will come out, or did I mishear? I did like the dashboard-wide display in that mockup.
It's been done with third party audio makers, they can sell you dongles that can send it through your other equipment.I love the CarPlay stuff, but no chance car companies bring it to existing models
No, they're referring to vehicles from the listed carmakers that are compatible with the full dashboard UI."Vehicles will start to be announced late next year." That's disappointing. I was really excited for the Apple helicopter. An AppleCar runs contrary to what Apple's MO is with hardware. They pretty universally avoid developing hardware operating in strict regulatory environments. That's why there are no Apple medical devices (no, the AppleWatch doesn't count; it's not sold to replace hospital/clinic equipment).
No cars, helicopters, elevators, pacemakers, insulin pumps, etc.
i cant help feeling like i'm watching a cult recruitment video
"Cellular devices" as a category are actually a pretty strict regulatory environment....An AppleCar runs contrary to what Apple's MO is with hardware. Wouldn’t this also be used in an Apple made car?So this is what Apple‘s car team has actually been doing not building a car just an MMI interface as I’ve always said and expected
my dream would be they announce macOS/iPadOS on the iPad m1/m2 and have you choose which u1 you want to run since both can run iOS apps technicallyCome on, iPadOS… let’s make use of those M1/M2 chips.
Yes...my digital dash does this, but not as well as the full Apple CarPlay integration I want.I don’t get it…. Cars already do this, why the need for CarPlay?
Looks more like, look we can’t do our own car, so let’s screw up the UI of others. 🤷♂️
So what's new with iOS16? It's so unclear.
Designed by blind kids in kindergarten, with a head-wand.As usual the new watch faces are lame.
