It looks like the M2 Pro has the same casing as the M1 - just different insides. Even the big bezels are still there.

definitely a small upgrade not worth upgrading too, I personally use my MacBook Air m1 as a desktop clamshell mode with a 5120x1440 monitor. its good enough, if I need to do hard work for rendering I got my desktop windows pc for that
Exactly. If anything now is the time to scoop up a used m1 air for cheap. People are going to be upgrading. M1 is more then enough, based on the numbers I’ve seen!

Anyone else constantly forgetting the latest name of macOS? I can't stay on top of it anymore. I'm sure I'll forget about Ventura in a few hours.

WHAT? No M2 Mac Mini?
What’s the point in keeping selling the Intel Mini?
Unbelievable.

finally stage manager is what I was waiting for, how come it took forever. I left suggestions on apple forums so long asking for something like this

Speaking from a UK point of view, assuming the prices convert similarly (as they have done in recent years), £1100+ for a base model M2 MBA isn't great pricing, especially if they're keeping the M1 MBA at £999.

I get that component prices have increased but those prices aren't appealing, M1 should have gone down to £899 and the M2 should have been £999.
