Finally they are moving widgets. I still don't know what to do with the desktop screen. I leave it blink, but I want to put things on it and make it more interactive. And yes, that is the Windows part of me talking.
 
This actually seems cool. My desktop is mostly bare, and having the widgets show/hide isn't too convenient.

But it is interesting the way macOS keeps getting more and more like iOS.

they've had widgets forever on the Mac and I don't think I ever used them after day one. I do glance at the weather once in awhile but never click on it because it goes to some less useful than iPhone weather app.
 
Wallpaper of vineyard, sounds like a certain other OS. Not bad wallpaper, finally a bit of green.
 
Ok the way they designed the desktop widgets to fade into the background and take on colors intelligently is really slick and excellent UX work.

But will the iPhone widgets work with Intel Macs seamlessly? That would be useful since I can't use iPhone apps on my Mac currently.
