I'm trying to figure out if Craig Federighi is an AI avatar. His voice seems overly processed compared to the others. And his repetitive shifting from one leg to the other seems unrealistic. I'm so distracted by it that I'm not listening to what he's saying. I'm concentrating on the wrinkles in his shirt to see if something unnatural happens.

Apple always super overly processes their audio. It’s so ludicrously flat sounding that it’s annoying.

CarPlay Ultra is really cool. I remember when the first screenshots of it came out, but then things went quiet. I am glad it was not abandoned because car manufacturers are awful when it comes to in-car digital experience. A $100 Android tablet from AliExpress works smoother and more stutter free than an infotainment system on a brand new $100k Audi. They are awful.

It may be only for a select few brands for now, but this means Apple is taking over the car screen and that's great! I don't want to deal with car manufacturer infotainment systems at all.

I wonder does "Ultra" mean you have to pay for it?
