That's a feature I started using on Google messages and it's pretty useful.
It feels like they are behind everyone, so they are really angling at on-device and privacy as marketing. Jennifer Lawrence must be delighted.
Live translations. Ok, but I speak to my fellow Spanish speakers in messages in Spanglish. Good luck with that.
I used it once to generate a logo for a project I was working on. It took a few tries but eventually I got something useable.

I would imagine the "Increase Contrast" accessibility setting would work well with the redesign. Maybe, hopefully, there will be a slider.
