This image with WWDC26 looks like lens flair to me which suggest Apple Vision or Apple Glasses is going to be a big thing this year.

I really like the current iteration, where the edges of the entire screen glow. A glowing cursor seems a bit too subtle.

The decision to name the OS after the year FOLLOWING the year the OS is announced and released continues to be the dumbest choice they’ve made in a while…

Since the new OS is released in September, naming it with the current year means it would only be accurate the first three months, and then it would spend 9 months being "behind."

This way, it's only "ahead" three months out of the whole year. This way is better.

I've always thought that was stupid for cars, and do here as well. Just because it's common practice doesn't inherently make it wise.

I feel like people aren’t seeing the forest from the trees when it comes to this change.
Who cares what the number is, the important thing is that the number is finally synchronized between all of the different operating systems.
It’s not macOS 15, watchOS 11, iOS 18 or iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 or any crazy nonsense like that anymore…
It’s just… iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, watchOS 26, even the HomePod, Studio Display and XCode are on version 26.

My iPhone is the last device I have using the Lightning connector. Can't wait to get rid of it. Maybe then I could actually use Apple Intelligence (yeah, I know... but I want to at least try it.).

If they did not change Siril, then I could be sure my coffee count down timer would continue to work and it could transcribe a verbal message and send the text to my wife. That process does not need AI.

I believe AI will be the means that those currently in power will find all members of the opposition and dispose of them. George Orwell's book seemed to describe such a scenario. He sure had a crystal ball for the future.

I’ve been saying this for ages. notifications should've been added to the dynamic island. Many system notifications like motion sickness reduction and AirPods linking are already there

I feel like it is a lost opportunity. Many wouldn't use it since they have Apple Watches or can see notifications with AOD, but something about having just a coloured ring or something similar pulsing to show you exactly what notification it is without needing to look or get distracted would be great.

Sorry I’m wrong, tested in M2. As I was able to install it on my XS and iPad Pro 2018 I thought it would work. But app show a message about modern device requirement.
