NEW RULES #humor

One: Buy yourself a new Macbook Pro
Two: Buy yourself a new Macbook Air to your lightweight wife.
Three: Buy yourself a new pair of glasses
Four: Download Xcode. Then delete it just after the stream, and re-download it.
Five: Switch to Android the week before, but then again back to iPhone the day before WWDC. Buy a iPhone (SE) first edition; on twitter.

Wow everyone seems to be expecting an orgasmic experience. I'm hoping for the M2 or M1X or whatever it will be called into a high spec MBP.

Or use a Mac, where we press cmd+r to refresh, not F5…
Or realize that this whole conversation, going back to the post I quoted where the F5 key was mentioned, was a joke about how much the original poster was anticipating hearing good news at WWDC and then having to wait for the object of their desire to be available to purchase.

And you know, maybe that person (and definitely me) uses more than just Macs (like Windows and Linux computers) on a daily basis and is familiar with more than one way to refresh a page in a web browser.

Iupdate saw the video of iOS 15 and he said the home page looks the same on the iPhone and app icons are the same :(
That doesn’t mean they won’t allow you to place icons from bottom to top, but yeah wasn’t expecting a drastic change on the homescreen.

Developers have all the fun. I will think about putting the public beta on my iPad, but I still remember a few years back when the beta screwed up people's iCloud. Not sure I want to go through something like that. Not putting it on my Mac for any reason until my main apps have been updated. Especially SoftRAID, which is how I access my really fast NVME-based RAID. It probably won't take as long this year to get SoftRaid updated because the big changes Apple made to this kind of software has already happened, and it will be much easier for such software to be updated without the developer needing major help from Apple (fingers crossed). Waiting for the M1 update last year took way too long for my taste. :)
I have been running the betas the past few years and they have been really good especially the public beta. I usually wait until public beta 2-3 before installing because they seem to be more stable than beta 1. Interested to see what they do to take advantage of M1 in the new ipads.

OK, glad I gave you the opportunity to get that off your chest at least.
