I think you guys took my rant a little to seriously. I over exaggerated my opinions a little. I don't really care about the whole "pro" name thing. I was simply pointing it out. However I do find it odd that apple would leave just one MacBook. I was expecting them to expand their MacBook lineup.

BTW, maybe I should write a "rant" about all the good things apple did. That people won't respond so negatively. :rolleyes:

ExpressCard is a sucky loss if you are planning on buying a particular device to use it but I'm glad it's still available in the 17" model.
 
They lowered the price. Plus the previous low-end MacBook Pro also had 3 MB L2.

I was mainly referring to the 2.66GHZ model, which used to have a 6MB L2 cache and 512MB of Graphics memory. Which is £1299 in the refurb store, so for £200 more you get less of everything.

It seems to be a reoccurring trend in the UK, same price less features, or sometimes worse, higher price less features.

But that's a great deal for someone
