No sensible, rational human would trust X / Twitter with any information that needed to be private.
What is "iChat" and what is "Apple iIntellegence" from your signature?Apple is falling behind! They need to offer encrypted messages in iChat.
Curious what you're messaging that you require encryption?Avoid this ****. Use Signal instead.

Because they use Signal, you will never know...Curious what you're messaging that you require encryption?
Funny thing about encrypted messages is they are on at least TWO phones (more if a group chat). All it takes is one phone that is available/unlocked or a willing owner and your encrypted message is right there! How many times have we seen leaked Signal messages because someone had the message on their phone for all to see?All messaging requires encryption.
Just because something isn't illegal now doesn't mean it won't be later and if someone has your messages then they have a case against you already.
The moment I hear this point, I wonder how many people study history or read books these days...

Not a concern of mine, just my argument that these messages aren't as private as people might think. If that's a concern you're probably better off meeting in person in the desert and speaking in tongues.
You may regret not using 2FA when a breach happens on your account. However by the same token, the same kind of breach can occur on you phone number via 2FA. I'd rather them have my phone number than my account.Dumbest idea ever. Forcing us to put in a 4 digit code just to access our messages? NO THANKS. I dont do 2fa on anything. dumbest idea by musk.
Oh boy, you are going to be in for a rude awakening one day.Dumbest idea ever. Forcing us to put in a 4 digit code just to access our messages? NO THANKS. I dont do 2fa on anything. dumbest idea by musk.

Agreed. Also things that are acceptable now can be taken out of context in the future and viewed in a negative light. All messaging requires encryption.

What are you even talking about?Lesson 101 in computer security: Don’t let Musk have full access to your entire phone.

As someone not on the IT field, this also brought my attention… does that mean that other E2EE messaging apps such as WhatsApp are also able to intercept our messages? Because unlike Telegram, WhatsApp isn’t pursued by many governments…As an IT security professional, I'm having trouble reconciling "end-to-end encryption" with "not protected against man-in-the-middle attacks." I think one of these things doesn't mean what Musk thinks it means...
Xcreted. What is the equivalent verb to say “tweeted”, as in “posted a Tweet”, but in X?
