Yep, the tooling was already there! R&D completed 3 years ago or so, the 8/8+ should be £200 less, that would shift even more boat loads.

Thank god some people on here know science.

I'm a high school science teacher with a degree in biochemistry, and a number of university credits in statistics, so yeah, it drives me a bit crazy when people jump to conclusions without proper data, which happens a lot here. (See iPhone 8 is a flop thread).

Went for an 8.

I’v had my 6 for 2.5 years so the 8 is more than enough of an upgrade. I don’t use my phone as media device so a big fancy screen etc isn’t at the top of my wish list

I also can’t get my head around spending £999 for a phone......
