If you can afford it and care a lot about the camera and battery life, then yes. If those aren't important to you, then you're better off waiting til next year.

Not for me even though I appreciate the improvements made this year. Next year is going blow the iPhone 11 Pro away. So I’ll be using my iPhone X until then.

I am amused. Each year we hear “next year will be the major upgrade year” or some variation like that. Some years we are correct, while other years not. If you need or just want a new phone, but it NOW.

the thing is, we have been hearing 2020 since last year. A major upgrade that seems like a lock is 90 or 120hz refresh rate.

this.

literally everyone said last year when the Xs released “....but but next year will be the big new radical phone” and here we are,it’s another iPhoneX-formula phone.

If the 11 Pro appeals to you and you can afford it, go for it. I upgraded from an Xs and felt it was totally worth it (but then again I’m an avid photographer and I just hated the crap battery life on the Xs, didn’t help Xs has a smaller battery than X)

I’m keeping my X another year after playing with the new devices at the Apple store and talking with the employees.

1. It works fine.
2. I have a wireless charger I use when not using it, so battery is typically a nonissue. For road trips and concerts I carry an Anker charger that cost $20.
3. Cameras are nice, but unless you’re really into photography, is it worth another $600? Only you can decide.

It's a nice upgrade but if you have an X series already with an OLED display, it IMO will not be a huge leap...I've had the X, XS, and the 11 Pro Max...I think I will honestly stick with the XS since I buy outright, and wait for 2020...The experience is very similar all around like always with iPhone you know what you're getting. As others stated if you don't need the new camera system or extended battery, the cost may not be worth it...
