Kudos to Apple Insider who looks to have broken the story.

The Verve followed with this.

Reddit did the same thing and sells their data to Microsoft for their AI offering....neckbeards are impacting AI's decision making.

For Elon Musk users are guinea pigs.

After feasting on the bile from X, Grok will have systemic PTSD.

easily solved

I have both domains blocked at the router level. 😛

data from people wanting to shame Elon for this will be sucked into OpenAI and later be used on Apple Intelligence without the users permission lol

I can and am completely avoiding openAI products too, same as Twitter.

Edit: It magically appeared (underneath "Location information") when I went back to the page. It seems it might take a reload or two before it appears.

LOL @ the people that are mad at Elon but not Sundar Pachai , Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Steve Apple.

Social media companies have been mining your data since MySpace... But Your mad at Elon.
FB literally knows when you are going to the bathroom.. But you are mad at Elon..
You got 10 Google Home Mini, 2 Amazon Echo Shows, and 5 Apple HomePods littered throughout your house and work
AND YOUR MAD AT ELON?

The Amount of data that big tech has on you.. They know more about you than you do.. They know your location 24/7 they know what your going to buy, how you are feeling, when you are doing the nasty.. they know everything.

You gladly give away this info every day.
And they sell it to everyone. You are the product..

Elon hate seems to be part of the narrative nowadays. Let’s be honest, we knew Elon was an a** long before even the Model Y first came out. Back then, the media said he was cool so everyone was cool with him. As soon as the media said he’s not cool, all of a sudden everyone hates on him.

This is something I’ve really started to notice with American culture lately. Hate who you want to hate but let it be your choice not because it’s the “in” thing to do now… Same goes the other way around. People will rally behind whoever they are told to regardless of what they thought of that person just a few months ago…

If only that was so easy… Grok is being trained on anything you may have posted on Twitter, doing that is a bit like locking the stable after the horse has already been through the glue factory. 🤦‍♂️

Heck, once I saw what Twitter was becoming under Musk I actually went and painstakingly deleted ALL of my tweets, retweets and replies (yes, all of them), and removed my personal data and changed my account from my main mail address to a secondary one. And, still, there may be backups of my posts somewhere, so I’ll still do this for good measure. The fact that I kept my account around, just in case, may actually pay off, as I’m at least expressing my disapproval, which may become relevant if there’s a class action lawsuit against this clown.

Speak for yourself; I really didn’t know Elon was a deranged cnut until his very public meltdown over that guy involved in rescuing those soccer-playing kids from the cave they got trapped in, in 2018. And it didn’t immediately become apparent to me just how deranged it was; that was but a red flag, because the rest was a gradual process of discovery, of layers upon layers of lore and drama.

there might be a correlation between media and public perception, but the cause is still Elon

This was the event that started souring me on Musk as well. Until this point I was stoked he was bringing EVs to the masses and doing amazing things with SpaceX.

It’s frustrating that his company is the avant-garde of the US space industry with seemingly no serious competition. I can’t imagine NASA wanting to use Boeing’s module again considering they’re still testing whether or not the astronauts will make it back to Earth alive from the ISS due to thruster issues.

I'm remembering when a decade ago microsoft's chat bot became super racist after interacting with folks on a much more moderated twitter than x has become, unless they're doing some serious backfill Grok is going to be a racist, antivax, misogynistic cesspool of an LLM.
Just like the owner of X, then.
Perfect for padding out millions of interactive X bot accounts without raising suspicion.
