I was going to order through Apple directly but ultimately got won over by Xfinity Mobile's offer of $250 rebate plus an additional $40 rebate through USAA. So I have a 128GB Gold 12 Pro on order from Xfinity Mobile.

I already have an Xfinity line on my phone as my physical SIM so I'm familiar with the service. Has anyone preordered from Xfinity before? What should I expect - launch day delivery, a mess, something else?

Also, where are my other Xfinity people out there?

My order was super smooth. Got an email confirmation immediately and now I'm waiting to see what happens next.

Edit: Got a second email with full details and information.

Ordered from Xfinity as well due to the $250 card. Should be delivered 10/23 and is already being prepared!

Hi! Glad to have someone else to benchmark this experience with. I just checked the site and shipping dates are starting to slip already on many of the options so I think it's good we got in so fast.

I discovered that I think the Xfinity phones come locked. I currently use a T-Mobile eSIM as my primary line and Xfinity as my secondary (number I give out to people at work). It looks like this new device is probably not going to let me set up the T-Mobile line until it's eligible for unlocking in a few months.

I went back and forth but I think I'm going to stick with this order because it's such a good deal and just have two physical phones for a few months. I'm home almost all the time anyway right now so I can just forward the number to Xfinity if I need to leave or just take both devices like I did for years anyway.

Damn... was going for the Pacific Blue 256gb Pro, but delivery estimate is November 25. Graphite is November 4. Anyone know if those are usually accurate?

I ordered the iPhone 12 128gb blue around 10am est on pre order day. EDD 10/23! Pretty pumped I’m going from iPhone 11 Pro Max 512 so I’m hoping I like this transition. I have a iPhone 11 as my work phone and always tend to pick my work phone up to use vs my personal and I only use about 60gb so the 512 was so much overkill! Can’t wait till next Friday!

This is my first device order with Xfinity so I'm not really sure what to expect. Will we get early tracking like the Apple-purchased devices? Are they even going to show up on time? We're going to find out I guess... I have to say that my general opinion of Comcast with respect to doing what they say they will do is very low. My guess is that's why they have such an aggressive offer because they know no one really chooses to have a relationship with Xfinity unless they either have no other choice or are bribed with heavy kickbacks.

Xfinity - ball's in your court. Change my mind.

I pre-ordered with Xfinity two years ago and it went smooth and everything arrived on release day. Pretty easy really. I also pre-ordered yesterday for an iPhone 12 64GB Blue.

This is good to hear. Especially as I haven’t ordered with them before, but I couldn’t turn down that $250 Visa card.

Has anyone had any updates on their orders? This is my first pre order with Xfinity. I still have a pending charge on my debit card.

That is likely accurate. I moved to xfinity mobile a year ago, getting this same deal in my iPhone 11 with them for being a new customer. I had to wait 3 weeks while bigger players such as Verizon had them in stock to pick up same day. The lady at the store said it’s because they are a smaller outfit, they get much smaller allocation each week than the bigger players do.

I’m in the same situation. I’ve been looking at UPS/FedEx tracking and the Xfinity order. No changes. Also still a pending charge only.

Still a pending charge here as well. However from what I remember the last thing I got from Xfinity was delivered via FedEx.

This will be my 4th phone on Xfinity Mobile, I pre-ordered the X and Xs Max and both were delivered on launch day with tracking info that was pretty much the same as I saw from Apple orders. From what I remember we’ll prolly get a shipped email on Wednesday for delivery on Friday. Last year I upgraded in store because of an in store stipulation in a gift card promo. Ordered the 12 blue in 128gb, apparently no one wanted that one as you can still get it delivered on launch day as I write this. I’m a little worried going from the 11 Pro Max but I really don’t need the Pro features, actually was gonna get the regular 11 last year but they didn’t have the one I wanted in store for the upgrade promo.

I am going from a 11 pro max to the 12 as well, I used to be super tech guy “I worked at Verizon store” then i switched careers and now I do plumbing so tech just isn’t that super important to me anymore. I have a iPhone 11 for my work phone and I just tend to want to use that phone more often than my 11 pro max. Hoping I don’t eventually regret not at least getting the 12 pro

Mild thread high jack here but on subject, I need to dump att, Xfinity is supposed to be Verizon, but second class after actual Verizon during peak times? What has everyone’s experience been like with this provider? Thanks!

Never had issues unless I’m somewhere super remote where no one has service. I also rarely use the phone and am on wifi most of the time 🤷🏻‍♂️

I really feel like unless you’re a professional photographer you don’t need a pro. Especially now that they all have OLED my eyes won’t have to adjust to a different screen quality, just the slightly smaller size. The color was also a deciding factor, I just love the blue on the 12. The pacific blue didn’t wow me and looks similar to the midnight green. Of course once I see bloggers showing it off and when I see it in person I might regret it but I hope not!
