This is the first device to be announced to use the brand new Nvidia Tegra K1 chip, will be very interesting to see the performance of the chip, 64bit too which again is a first for Android.
So because some on here are under the impression this tablet copies the shape of an iPad and then the colours of an iPhone, you have claimed it transpires into Android copying...
Erm, no, it has NOTHING to do with Android, it is the manufacture you should be directing your comment to, NOT the entirety of a mobile device operating system and platform.
My guess is it's utter trash but then again I'm just basing that off pricing and what past Chinese knockoffs have delivered. I am kind of interested to see what the Tegra K1 can do.

It's hard to say, but they do seem to price their kit at incredibly cheap prices, almost Google Nexus pricing but they don't have the financial backing I guess that Google does to allow a decent product?
I did see another tablet of theirs which had a desktop that was a rip off iOS7's icon designs and colours, so they aren't very imaginative.
Xiaomi is a huge brand in China (even bigger than Apple there I believe), and undercutting the base model retina iPad mini by $100+ while having the fastest chip and the same retina screen is seriously impressive. I have also heard great things about MIUI so I will have to wait and see 🙂
