Just one? How about a few...
use real multitasking
I won't go into how easy it is to view movies on my network with the iPad. Or samba, or the ease at which I download PDFs from the web (using the iPad) and view on the iPad.
What I need is an explanation on multitasking. I need to know the why. Why is "full" multitasking on an Android better than the "not so full" multitasking of iOS.
Some people wants & needs are different to others.
You have to sell a toolbox to people and they pick the tools they wish to use for the job.
If you select the tools you think they should use, then there will be many who can't do what they want as you have not included that tool.
Or course you cannot fit every tool there is into a small toolbox, but you should do your best to cover as many options as possible.
Screwdriver, Steel hammer, Plastic mallet, Centre punch, set of HSS drills, wood saw, hacksaw, chisels, Steel rule, Spirit level.
However, someone may then want to drill a hole in a brick wall, but you have not inclused any masonry drills, as you don't think people should be drilling holes in brick walls, as wood/plaster walls are all the modern person should have around them.
Then the person is stuck.
And that's the issue. They will buy a tool set with masonry bits, but to save $25-$50 they won't buy a drill with a hammer drill setting. MOST people don't know what the hell they want or know how to make choices. More choice just confuses them. Look at the number of people that buy the 64 Gig 3G iPad, for resale value. (Numorous people post on here recommending 3G even if you don't use it for resale value. Spending an extra $130 to get an extra $$50-$80 doesn't make sense). They then spend all this money on screen protectors, cases, case films, then realize the amount of money they spent, and have buyers remorse. Buying a simple 16 or 32 gig wifi model would have said them money, and better allowed them to enjoy the device.
Don't try to read into this. I am not saying Apple should drop the 64gig 3G model. Just saying that most people don't know how to choose, and some of the competitors play on this.

I will stand by my argument that most people now blindly buy Apple products. I am known as an "Apple guy" in my environment and the last year I've had so many friends, family and colleagues come to me because they bought a Mac or iPhone and didn't know how to perform the simplest of tasks. These were people that bought the products because they just wanted to join the buzz. Apple is not so successful just because they make good stuff. Their stuff have now become "trendy" and this is what has skyrocketed their sales. Personally I buy them because they make my life easier and more efficient. I don't know if the majority of Apple customers are like me but I highly doubt it. Maybe that was the case a while ago.
I somewhat disagree on your blindly buy and trendy. Yes, there are some that decide to try a Mac or iDevice to see what all the hoopla is about, but there are others that try it out and like it. (Smartest thing Apple ever did was SUPPORTING Windows on the Mac, instead of fighting it). I never understood what the hoopla was and thought Macs were useless. Long story short, I was talked into an iPod (1st gen Nano, on release day), later bought an old Mac from eBay, talked my mother into an iMac (she has sold 8, her friends play on it an then go buy one, her sister has bought two). Now I have an iMac, 3rd gen Nano, iPad, bought my kids MacBooks and Nano, and the wife got a 16 gig Nano with her safety points. But none were blind purchases. When asked for advice, I even recommend going to an Apple store and trying one out first. (Apple stores even allow you to plug in flash drives and install software)
Being the "Apple Guy". It's too convenient to ask you and get an answer. Why look it up in a book or on the net when the good ole "Apple Guy" is just a phone call away ? Same reason I have never butchered a deer. Too many people willing to do it for me. Too many people willing to show off their expertise. I let them.
