iPhone XR XR AT&T Trade-In Dilemma $700 Now in case $350 Next Year

Not overwhelmed by the announced iPhone 13 features but doing some thinking about the current trade-in value for my iPhone XR. Right now, it’s still getting a $700 trade-in (as credits of course). I recall last year the iPhone 8 fetching that amount but see that it has dropped to the $350 trade-in this year.

I’m wondering if next year the XR drops to $350 and I’d miss out on the last big trade-in credit if I wait for the iPhone 14.

Anyone else in the same boat or have any thoughts?

I would definitely trade in now. That's the same value I'm quoted for my 12 mini.
