A G4 for $800? Buy a used Intel dual core machine for that price. It will be faster. Also watch which disks will work with the G4. Certainly no SATA drives and there was a rather small size limit as I recall. I think yu'd be limited to using 100GB PATA drives. Can you even buy those any more? I'd not pay more than about $200. In fact that is the going price of a working G4 tower
