Stainless case with a brushed stainless band, just like a Rolex Submariner.
 
The link band on mine was quite nice. I found it to be well made and free of bugs. Yet the phone had enough bugs for both ... LOL

Yet kidding aside the watch was pretty good. It simply didn't have anything to offer for my taste. Perhaps next years will. If so I'll buy one.

I didn't like this on Space Black SS, but I think it works great on the regular SS. Something about shiny black makes it look like plastic, but it looks perfectly normal on non-coated polished SS. As someone else mentioned, most SS watches with link bands have that same contrast.
 
I have 3 minor smudge-like scratches [but definitely not smudges] on my link bracelet and I've only worn it twice. Is this something I should try to get a replacement over or is it par for the course?



 
After much debate, I decided today to return my link band. It looked and felt great, however I love the Milanese loop that came with the watch, and it was just too hard to justify the link band for $450. :(
