If by yellow you just mean warmer, then they are a far better calibrated and more accurate screen than the cool blue looking ones anyway.

If by yellow, however, you mean that it actually looks yellow, then I'd exchange it.

yeah it's yellow compared to the ones on display in apple store, actually looks good on videos and games bur on web pages and mail it's if looks like its liver had packed in.

OP did the yellow tint go away?

My yellow tint did not go away. :(

It's just bothersome because there is so much use of white in iOS 7, which easily calls attention to the fact that my screen exhibits a yellow tint.

Ofcourse the tint does not go away. Why would it? People claiming it's glue or something are just talking out of the back of their heads and don't know anything. They should be arrested.

I ended up going through 5 iPhone 5s due to either half or quarter yellow screens or light bleeding through on the top that looked like 5 little spotlights due to the LED's.

I have had every phone since the 3GS and this is the first time I have had to do a redicolous amount of replacements

First phone was 100% pure white, apart from a major backlight leak due to the LED's showing through on top of the LCD even is bright sunlight.

Second, no spotlight issue, but half the screen was dirty yellow, other half was pure white, same issue for the 3rd. But only top quarter was yellow.

4th, spotlight bleed once again but lovely screen otherwise.

5th flawless, no spotlight issue and a lovely white uniform screen. Finally.

Terrible LCD quality control, other than the LCD issues each phone had no dead pixels or or any other hardware issues.

This is not my photo, but this shows an example of the spotlight bleed.

This spotlight bleeding was present on the iPhone 4S. I had it on my release day model back in 2011 and took it to apple. They said it was normal but they gave me a replacement anyway. The replacement had the same issue but wasn't as noticeable. I just ended up keeping the replacement device.

Don't worry - this issue has disappointed me so much. Apple and the horrible geniuses refuse to acknowledge the issue now too (at least in all the different Apple stores in my area). I hope when Apple goes with IGZO it changes.

Wow my 4S had the spotlight leak issue and I knew it was a problem but I never ended up swapping it out. Only noticed it on white pages but I guess it never horribly bothered me.

My silver 5S is very cool, my original space gray 5S was very warm. Displays do vary. The display on my 5S is perfect, such an upgrade over the 4S. So crisp.

Mine has a yellow screen. :( I've had it for a month.
The iPhone 4S was a brilliant white, so's my iPad and iMac. Should have brought it back during the return period, now I'll have to live with it.

They will trust me. Take pix comparing your iPad screen & iPhone screen to prove it. Tell them the yellow makes it harder to concentrate reading books o your phone. This will work I promise you.

Take it back and get a new one. Definitely the way to go! Mine doesn't have a yellow tint at all, something which I expect of a device which is so expensive and so should you!

Do you know how long I should have to be able to exchange my 5s? I'm out of the 14 day return policy but I'm pretty sure that Apple allows you to exchange a device as long as it's still under the one year warranty.

Take it to genius bar, if they acknowledge the problem the will give you a service replacement unit.

I had my yellow unit ( otherwise perfect) replaced the new unit has a great screen but with a rattling sleep button, as the mic is next to the sleep button the rattle is all over any videos i take. Got 64GB with video in mind. The whole 5s "experience" had been a pain. I think i have purchased my last apple product the bloody nexus 5 for half the price had to come out a day after my return period ended :(

You have a whole year to do it :)

Take it back again.. If you don't think they will give you another, complain that there is sometimes fuzziness in noise out of the earpiece, they replace that... :)
