Yelp vs Google

I didn't realize it was soooo uncool to use yelp. I use it a lot and a lot of my friends us it a lot. I live in LA and there's a bazillion great restaurants and Yelp is awesome for finding good places to eat around town. I use Urban Spoon too, but Yelp often has more reviews/content. I also tour around the world 3 months of the year and Yelp has been great finding decent food around the US. Wish there was something comparable in Europe.

Me too, I am way uncool, I probably use Yelp once a day. My lady and I have found so many great places from Yelp, we now regularly enjoy! Plus, sometime they have some good deals available via those Yelp coupons.

But yeah I apparently am uncool too, but at least I am exploring some great stuff I would've normally never known.

I too had dropped Yelp! in favor of Around Me, as the Review portion wasn't really important to me.

Well; you can count me back among those who are getting in on the Yelp! rebirth... lol
